"What?" they asked in unison.
"Papa, I don't want to marry now, especially him! I am only 25 years old, and I have the freedom to choose whom I will marry." Ada objected to the proposition, but Vikram interrupted her, stating, "You can continue your work after marriage," tightening his fist.
Vikram Agarwal always gets what he wants; he has never heard the word "no" from anyone except his elder son Vidyut Agarwal.
"You didn't even ask me about it," Vidyut said sharply, gazing at his father. Ada saw Rima and Adhiraj seemed concerned about something.
'Something is amiss in their family,' she concluded.
"I am asking you now, we are your parents... whatever we decide, we will decide for your good only," Vikram added, glancing at Ada, who was already staring at him.
"No, you can't!" Vidyut snapped at him but clenched his fist when he looked at his surroundings, "You can't and will not decide what is good for me and what's not" Vidyut said greeting his teeth.
But, ignoring his son's statements, Vikram smiled softly and asked Ada, "So, do you want to marry him, daughter?"
"What? No!" Ada muttered something, but Vijay placed his hand on her shoulder., "Yes, she will marry him," Vijay replied, turning to face Ada. Aviraj followed Vidyut as he left in a rage. Ada said nothing as she recognized what was going to happen next.
"Excuse us, I have some really important work," Vijay said as he took Ada from there. Vikram, Rima, and Siya attended the event together.
On the other hand
"Ahhhhh......... I.. am ... I am sorry please" Ada shrieked when the belt smacked her back. Vijay yanked her hair and turned her face toward her.
"How dare you reject my words? "How dare you speak against me?" He shoved her and hit her again; she shouted out in pain, but no one cared.
The maids stood like statues, heads down, and no one dared to look at the scene where their master was striking his daughter with a belt. They were unable to move because he had instructed them to remain calm.
Their hearts pounded when they saw Ada cry in agony, but Vijay seemed indifferent. He was repeatedly hitting her with his belt and yanking her hair, arms, and throat.
"You are nothing to me only a daughter for name shake !"
Thud.
"You are living this luxurious life only because of me as you are my so-called daughter !"
