AUTHOR'S POV

Vidyut led Ada to his apartment and urged Aditya to arrive as soon as possible. He asked that his private doctor come as soon as possible.

"Don't worry Mr. Agarwal, she will be fine but it seems like they have tortured her and her body needs water." The doctor grumbled, and Vidyut focused on Ada's unconscious state. Her face was pale, but the wounds on her cheeks and hands made his blood boil.

"What happened to Ada?" Aditya stormed inside the room, only to find Vidyut's doctor and an unconscious Ada. He ran towards the bed and sat down next to her.

"Mr. Agarwal, make sure she eats healthy food; she is very weak, and it did not happen in one day; it appears she hasn't eaten in four days," the doctor said before leaving after prescribing the drugs.

"What happened to her?" Why is she unconscious, and where did you discover her? Aditya asked as soon as the doctor left the room.

"I will tell you everything, but first I need to inform her father," Vidyut began, about to pick up his phone, when Aditya interrupted him and cried, "No!" "Don't call him," he pushed, and Vidyut scowled.

"He is her father and he has every right to know the whereabouts of his daughter and most importantly she has been missing from yesterday so he should know" according to Vidyut.

Despite being correct, he was unaware of the truth.

"Yeah, I know, but there's no need to call him," Aditya stated firmly. Vidyut was about to say something when Ada stirred in her sleep, catching both of their attention. Ada slowly opened her eyes and tried to sit in the bed, but failed miserably.

"Ada, don't move because you are too weak," Aditya encouraged, helping her.

"Bhai, where am I ?" Ada murmured softly while looking at Aditya.

"You are in Vid's penthouse," Ada exclaims, her eyes widening at his name. As she looked around, she found him standing on the side of the bed.

"You should rest properly; I've sent you the meal," Vidyut reminded her, looking at Aditya. "Come downstairs in exactly 30 minutes."

Vidyut walked out of the room without looking back at her. Ada groaned and gestured for Aditya to sit up straight. Aditya helped by passing her a glass of water.

"Where have you been? And how did Vidyut come across you?" Aditya probed, and Ada disclosed everything. Ada closed her eyes and put her head on the headset.

Aditya continued, "Ada, I want to tell you something," and she gave him a glance. "Actually, I...." However, he was interrupted by a phone call with Vidyut's name.

"Looks like your meal is ready; wait here, I'll bring it to you," he said as he exited the room. Ada placed her head on the headset again, and everything that had transpired in the previous 24 hours flashed before her eyes.
