I sat in my surveillance room, switching from camera to camera, watching as the Hazbin Hotel fuckers prepared to fight while drinking coffee.

"No fucking way! They're going to fight? Hahahaha! Oh, looks like your little hotel didn't work out so well." I laughed, turning to a screen with Alastor on it. "Oh, Alastor, I cannot wait to watch you get FUCKED! Ahahahaha!"

I continued to watch him, seeing him walk over to the fallen angel girl who looked just like him. "Wait, what is he doing?"

On the cameras, Alastor was showing the girl how to make a shield.

I chuckled deeply. "I don't know who this kid is to you Alastor, but if you somehow manage to make it out alive, I will find out who the girl is and use her against you."

I stood outside the hotel, twirling my staff around, struggling to make the simplest of shields.

"Ugh, come on." I tried again and again but failed.

"Need a little help?" Alastor appears beside me.

I jumped, startled. "Oh, uh, Da-, Alastor, maybe, I'm just trying to make a shield."

"You need to stop trying so hard." He summons his staff. "It's easy once you get the hang of it, all you have to do is channel your emotions and expand it, watch."

Alastor twirled his staff and a bright red shield appeared around him before disappearing. "Now, if you want to make a bigger shield, just amplify what you're feeling, you try."

I took a deep breath, thinking of the good times I had with my friends, feeling happy, then I spun my staff around creating a shield and watching it disappear.

"I did it!" I cheered.

"Yes, that was very good for your first time." Alastor compliments.

"Uh, thanks." I say awkwardly.

"Not a problem, if you need help with those powers of yours again, just ask me." Alastor says as he walks back into the hotel.

I smiled lightly. It might've been only a little while since we talked, but very slowly, I can feel our relationship fixing itself.

It's fixing itself very slowly. Of course, I'm still going to be cautious around him, I'm not even remotely ready to forgive him for killing my mother.

I walked back into the hotel, only to see Sir Pentious in a Victorian-style British army uniform.

"Fear not, damsels. I shall have the staff ready for victorious combat!" Pentious shouted.

"What in the hell are you supposed to be?" Vaggie asked him.

Pentious saluted. "General Pentious, reporting for duty. I'll turn those rapscallions into soldiers in no time at all!"

"Thank you, Pen." I chuckled.

Nifty swiftly ran up to him. "What can I do to help?"

"I'm glad, you asked, soldier. The base needs fortifications. Reinforce the southern wall! Create a moat around the perimeter to stop a ground assault." Pentious orders her, but she just blinks, having no idea what he said.

"How about this? If you see an angel, stab it!" Charlie hands Nifty a knife.

Nifty turns to see Angel Dust and runs at him with the knife. "Stab! Stab! Stab!"

"Hey, hey, hey, hey!" Angel climbs onto the pile he was leaning on.

"Not him!" Charlie tells her.

Nifty slowly and creepily turns toward me.
