Beginning with one of my precious pairs.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni, was very silent by nature. He never liked to talk much and managed to find a quite hideout for himself, wherever he went. So when he had joined in the team initially, Mahi was actually very terrified. But he had eventually found his first shelter in Dada, who was the captain of the team at that time.
Soon, Dada had become his confidante, his go-to person. Mahi slowly opened up to him, looking out for Dada instinctively, in both the good times and the bad. He loved Dada dearly, like any kid loved his big brother. For Mahi, Dada was a hero, period. No one, absolutely no one could be what Dada was to Mahi, not even Mahi himself.
So when he received the news that a new kid was going to join soon and that too under him, Mahi was horrified. He cannot do it, there was no way he could do it. Though he dearly wanted to, he somewhere knew he could never be a big brother.
But Mahi did not know that the new boy coming in, was exactly like himself.
Rohit Sharma had always been a quiet boy. A little reserved and shy in nature, he found it extremely difficult to strike a conversation with new people.
But Rohit did not know that people he was now scared of, would become his family forever.

Today was the day, Rohit would be joining his teammates for the first time.
He was excited but nervous. He was finally getting a chance to fulfill his dream of playing for his country.
On reaching the hotel, the first person Rohit collided with was Mahi.
"Oh shit", said Rohit. "I am sorry, I am very sorry."
He then looked up to see that the person he had collided with, was none other than Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
"Shit, I- I am sorry sir. I did not realize it was yo- you sir, I am sorry", he mumbled.
Mahi looked at him, half amused and half concerned, "It's okay, relax please. Are you hurt anywhere?"
"No no, I am not sir", Rohit said. "Are you hurt sir?"
Mahi said, "No, I am not."
Rohit smiled and looked down, not knowing what to say further.
Mahi looked at him once again and said, "Are you the new kid?"
Rohit replied, "Ye- yes- I mean yes yes, I am. My name is Rohit Sharma sir."
Mahi was now completely amused, "You need to relax a bit kiddo. I am not going to hurt you."
Mahi did not realize when the kiddo had slipped in.
Rohit chuckled nervously, "I know, I am sorry sir."
Mahi grinned, "First things first, you don't need to apologize so many times kiddo, especially when you have not done anything wrong. Secondly, please don't call me sir. I feel very old kid."
Rohit looked up at him, with his wide confused eyes which warmed Mahi's heart instantly.
"What should I call you then?" he wondered and his innocent thinking face caused Mahi to grin.
"Anything you want kiddo", he smiled at him.
"Bhaiya?" Rohit said suddenly.
Mahi's heart froze.
Rohit's smile widened.
"Yes, Bhaiya", said Rohit, his eyes gleaming with happiness. He looked at Mahi and asked, "Can I call you bhaiya?"
