She was a mess with a beautiful body

When her dad left she found a razor

Now her body's a mess too…

The boys all think she's gorgeous

Every girl hates her because of her beauty

But she only sees the mess

Not the beauty or the things everyone else sees

She's blamed for her dad leaving

So now she drinks too…

She arrives at school late

Getting the "Bad Girl" image

Her mom abuses her now

So she does drugs now too…

The school just thinks she's troubled

But they don't see her scars

The blood stained sweater sleeves

Or makeup stained sleeve cuffs

They just smell the whiskey

And the smoke from pot and cigarettes

The boys love her

All girls hate her

She always has headphones in

Bad grades and detention most days

Skipping school when she pleases

Drinking between classes

Smoking after classes

Cutting during "bathroom" breaks

Crying as she walks home alone

Her mom now refuses to buy her things

So she now shoplifts for food too…

Steeling food, clothes, and everything she needs

Boys try to get in her pants

Girls try to ruin her reputation

When her mom kicked her out for having to bail her out

She drank a bottle of whiskey

Smoked some cigarettes and pot

Sliced her thighs from knees to waist

Stripped to her bra and underwear

People gathered around her yelling

She took another drink of whiskey

Everyone screeming get down

Some yelling jump

She climbed up on the railing for the bridge

The tides coming in harsh

Blood flowing down her

Some guys looked at her ass and boobs

Girls smiling that she's leaving

She looked down at the big waves

Took another drink and dropped the bottle on the cement

She turned and looked at everyone

Spread her arms out like angel wings

Closed her eyes and fell into the water

The waves quickly took her down

Everyone gasped and ran over to the railing

When her body was found it was said she carved

                       "This world isn't for me"

On one thigh and

"At least I'll be pretty to God"
On the other
