"Hi!" A female voice all but squeals to me as I enter her apartment - a much bigger one than mine.

"Hi." I reply, grinning at her as she approaches me. "You're Malia!"

"I am! You're Priscilla!" Malia responds and hugs me.

I didn't expect that but I'm not complaining. Really, I'm relieved because I had worked myself up and gotten this whole image of her being really cold to me and not wanting to interact with me at all considering that up until now she's been the only female in a group of six people.

"Oh my God, you're so pretty - look at you!" She pulls away from the hug and cups my face, inspecting me intently with that huge grin.

Malia is absolutely adorable. She's a biracial woman with bouncy curls around her face and maybe the most amazing eyebrows I've ever seen.

I don't even have a chance to compliment her before she's talking again.

"It's so, so good to meet you!" She takes her hands away from my face and grabs one of mine, dragging me upstairs. "Tom told us that he knew you in school, that's so cool."

She leads me into her bedroom and sits us both down on the end of her bed. The girl doesn't waste time.

"I did, yeah."

"You're gonna have to give me some embarrassing stories about him."

I laugh at her comment.

"I will, don't you worry."

Malia sighs. "You've got no idea how happy I am to be able to work with another girl. I mean, I love the others but sometimes it gets so tedious."

I nod in understanding. "Oh, yeah. I sort of forgot that you have to travel the world and spend literally every waking minute with them."

"Every. Waking. Minute." She exaggeratedly rolls her eyes and I laugh again. Then she brightens up again. "Louise told us that you know some heinous bitch? And she's a fan of Tom?"

I nod again at the mention of Chelsea.

"Have you told her about all of this?"

I shake my head.

"Wanna post something on my social media and really freak her out?"

Malia has this childish grin on her face and I'm immediately nodding.

"Yes. Yes. Absolutely."

"You're fun. Let's go out!"
