CHAPTER 15

Papa was still in the emergency room at nadito kaming tatlo nina mama at kuya dto sa labas. Naka-upo lang ako while mama was walking back and forth. Tulala lang si kuya, my tears were silently falling down my tears.

"I know this is not an accident, I'll make sure to know who did this to papa." kuya said out of nowhere.

Napatingin ako sa kanya. Mas lalo akong napapa-isip kong sino ang gagawa nito kay papa. All I know that papa is a great person, a kind boss, brother, husband, father and as a person.

"Kuya, paano na tayo." I asked.

"Thalia, he'll be ok. You understand?" dahan dahan akong tumango. Niyakap ako ni kuya ng mahigpit, I'm the only one crying. I know mama is also in pain but she need to be strong for papa, and ofcourse for us. 

Ilang oras pa kaming naghintay sa balita ng doktor. Sobrang kabado na ako. Mama keep on looking at the clock while kuya keeps on combing his hair using his fingers. Halatang frustrated at kabado ito. Tito Xander (Adrian's dad) was also in the operating room kanina pero ang balita namin maayos na ito. But dad was on the driver seat that's why siya ang malala ang kondisyon. Nawalan daw ng preno ang sasakyan kaya nangyari ang aksidente biglang lumabas yung doktor napatayo kaming lahat....

"Doc, how's my husband?"

"To be honest Mrs. the operation was successfully but the blood clut happens in his brain it will lead to coma." dun na umiyak si mama. My tears starts falling again.

Days past and kuya become to busy on papa's case. And here I am also taking his responsibilities in the company and I have the legal permission to do that, because papa has a last will and testament saying that I have all the right in this company. 

But it's weird that uncle Frank (mama's older brother) keeps on insisting that he will lead the company temporarily as papa recover. I don't understand that he keeps on saying that I am still a kid to manage the company. Matagal na niyang gustong pamahalaan ang Ferrer Engineering Firm becuase he is also a Civil engineer graduate at lisensyado pa daw ito so why the board keeps on insisting me to lead the company temporarily eh nag-aaral pa daw ako. And I can't still manage this properly, the pressure here isn't the same as studying sabi pa nito.

Papunta ako ngayon sa hospital para dalawin si papa and I saw a man in black sa pinto ng kwarto ni papa. Nakita ko ang hawak nitong patalim na nakatago sa bulsa ng pantalon niya and I saw how he look around securing that no one is present in that area. Nasa private room si papa kaya bihira lang ang mga tao dito.

"Anong gagawin ko?" bulong ko sa sarili ko. Hindi ako magaling sa kahit anong martial arts. Anong gagawin ko? Umatras ako ng ilang hakbang and I hold my phone. Umakto ako na may kausap.

"Yes, hello. I'm on my way to my papa's room. I will visit him for now." I said and habang naglalakad ako nakasalubong ko ito.

I saw a tatoo on his lower neck sa part ng colarbone. A small tatoo. Nakakatakot ito at the same time nakakakilabot. why eye? of all the symbol, nakakatakot ito. Agad kong tinakbo ang kwarto ni papa at nilock ko yun. I saw my dad sleeping peacefully at may bandage sa ulo niya. This is not an accident. Hindi na din ako natutuwa. Agad kong tinawagan si kuya para pumunta dito. I look at papa and I hold his hand.

"Papa, don't give up please. We need you. You need to wake up already. Tama na yung isang week na natutulog ka dyan." I said as I kiss his hand.

"Anong problema Thalia?" tanong ni kuya. Agad ko siyang niyakap.

"Kuya I saw a man standing at the door a while ago may dala itong patalim...."
