CHAPTER 27

I was in lola Trinity's house because mama asked me to come. I was looking in a portrait. My eyes darted in a girl. She's wearing simple sando and denim shorts. Her hair was quite messy but she still looks beautiful.

"Crush mo?" tanong ni lola kaya naman umiling ako kahit ang totoo ay gusto ko nga siya. She's gorgeous.

"Sino po siya lola?" curious kong tanong.

"My only granddaughter." she replied. Nasaan kaya siya? "Nasa siyudad apo. Doon na lumaki kaya nga ako na ang bumibisita sa kanila." I wonder, are we going to meet someday? Cause I really want to meet her in person.

"Malabong dumalaw yun dito." she said na parang alam niya ang mga tinatanong ko. "Pero may wallet size akong picture niya, gusto mo?" she offered that's why my heart flutters.

I keep her picture in my wallet. I can't even explain why I like her. Every time I see her picture I feel like I'm in cloud nine.

I'm ranting because mama asked me to buy some fresh veggies from lola's farm. And there I saw her.... She's stunning even without any makeup or what.

Her voice was like a mellifluous music that kept on playing my head. Kahit conyo siya magsalita ang cute pa rin niya. She's really cute and I can't help admiring her.

Pagkagising ko ay bumaba ako kasi may narinig akong nag-uusap kaya naman bumaba agad ako. Nagulat akong nandito siya sa bahay at nahiya ako dahil hindi pa ako nakaligo.

"Namiss mo ako kaya nandito ka no?" tanong ko but she bit her lower lip.

"Ang kapal naman ng mukha mo." she replied at umirap pa siya.

Damn, mukhang wala tayong pag-asa. She's near yet so far. Pangit ba ako? Sa pagkakaalam ko gwapo naman ako. Ang harsh niya sa'kin.

Inaya ko siyang magswimming sa falls at panay ang reklamo niya pero imbes na mainis ako dahil may pagkamaarte siya ay mas nacucute-an ako sa kanya. She's a city girl and not used to this life.

She was mesmerized with the beauty of the water kaya naman tahimik lang siya sa tabi and here I am admiring her from afar. Damn! Cupid hit you Akira.

The whole summer vacation we stayed together. We make memories together. Minsan nga din magkasama kami sa iisang kwarto na parang normal lang sa'min. Damn! I'm falling.

"Akirrraaaa." Tricia shouted and kissed me on my cheek. Saying she misses me. Napatingin naman ako kay Ulam kong ano ang reaksiyon niya but she seems shocked but immediately changes her facial expression into a poker face. Fuck! Wala ba siyang pakialam? Sino ba naman ako?

It hurts me like hell. Maybe she doesn't really like me and she just wants me as a friend.

I keep pestering her for our assignment and project cause I want to spend more time with her. Kapag nauuna din siyang natutulog ay pinapanood ko siya. Tulad ngayon, she's sleeping soundlessly but still beautiful. Tinanggal ko naman ang ilang hibla ng buhok na nakaharang sa mukha niya para mas makita ko ito.

"Ang ganda mo talaga." bulong ko.

Naghiwalay kami ni Tricia kasi yun din ang gusto niya. She gave me a piece of advice. I thought she'll be happy but yeah, I shouldn't assume things. Inaya ko naman si Ulan na kumuha ng wine and she agreed.

Lola leaves the both of us and we drink. Until she removes her jacket. Fuck, she shouldn't be doing that.

"Anong ginagawa mo?" tanong ko but she just looks at me with her sleepy eyes.

"Ang init kaya."

"Huy, huwag kang maghubad." pigil ko sa kanya pero wala nahubad na niya. I was stunned when he held my cheeks and kissed me. My eyes widened, her lips are so soft. It's addicting but it's wrong.
