Chapter 30

After Alex and Derek made an alliance, Alex had decided she would tell Elena, Bonnie and Caroline about her emotions. Where better than the Gilbert house where they were telling each other about each of their plans. Alex made her way through the house and headed up the stairs where Caroline was stood outside.

"What's going on here?" Alex asks.

"Bonnie's spell isn't working and Elena is telling Bonnie about Damon sleeping with Rebekah." Caroline groans in defeat as it wasn't working. Alex headed inside the room and saw Bonnie with Elena.

She slowly looked around the room. "There was a lot more smoke in hers." Alex mused, looking at the two girls. She then holds out her hand to Bonnie. "Here, try this. Esther included my blood in her spell and said I had magic running through my veins."

"What?" Bonnie questions.

"Something about the witch Ayanna casting a spell on her husband which created my kind and because im a true alpha it's magnified." Alex explains and Alex could feel the magic being taken the second bonnie tried to cast the spell.

"Speaking of Esther, you should know that she came to see me and abby this morning." Bonnie reveals.

"And you let me vent about Damon?" Elena scoffs.

"I don't want you to worry." Bonnie argues.

"What did she want?" Alex wonders.

"She wanted to introduce herself. Abby and I helped bring her back. She's channeling our entire ancestral bloodline for power. I think she thought she was being polite." Bonnie explains.

"Okay, well is there a way to stop her from channeling you?" Elena wonders but Bonnie shrugs.

"I think there would be but you wouldn't like it." Alex tells them. "The reason she can take power from your bloodline is because it's untainted. If one of you were to die, the line would break and she wouldn't have any power."

"Even if Alex is right, why would we want that?" Bonnie frowns.

"I just keep thinking. Before the sun and moon ritual, Elijah found a way to keep me alive. And now I'm in exactly the same position and I'm just gonna let him die? It just doesn't feel right." Elena disagrees.

"So what? Klaus destroyed everything in this town." Alex scoffs, knowing that the only way to get on their side is to agree with them.

"You have you emotions back." Caroline realises as she steps back into the room. "By the way, the privacy spell is totally not working."

"You do?" Bonnie wonders and Alex nods.

"They came back on the other night. Derek forced them on and said some really harsh things but it worked." Alex tells the group. "And i will do anything to make him pay for what he done to me." Even saying the words made Alex cringe on the inside.

"There's no time to change anything anyways. They'll be dead by the end of the ngiht." Bonnie tells them.

"Full moon. Celestial event means that there more power." Alex realises and Bonnie nods.

Alex makes her way back to her apartment, noticing that Derek was still there but he was asleep. She wakes him up quickly and he jumps up.

"Whats wrong?" He questions as he raises to his feet with a tired look on his face.

"It's going down tonight, she's going to kill them. Us. She said she's drawing from Bonnie's ancestors which means i need to kill Bonnie or her mom to stop Esther from having any power." Alex quickly explains.
