GETTING back in touch with her senses, Hayley widened her eyes as being awaited by Angelo was never a good sign. "Aw now we've bloody done it." She huffed as her and Robert got out of the car.

Angelo stepped forward, signaling for the two to get back in the car, "Stay inside, Carlo and I need you guys to run to the liquor store and get us more bottles."

Hayley scoffed, "Why so you can break them all over the walls again?"

Angelo looked to her completely unfazed, "Hayley, be a good girl and do as you're ordered."

Knowing there was no use trying to reject her way out of it, Hayley got back in the car, glaring at Angelo as she slammed shut her car door. "I just can't fucking escape from you today, eh?" Hayley spoke illy towards Robert.

Completely disregarding what she had said, Robert took to his own approach at conversation, "Hayley, you should have seen yourself holy shit! You were spinning around in circles! What, were you trying to blend in with the meth heads of Whirley?!" he laughed out, leaving Hayley unamused.

Hayley opened her mouth to speak but was quick to realize that any attempt at getting Robert to understand her genuine fear of Whirley Street was about as useless as a gun with no trigger. So she decided to shut him out again, only this time she would consume herself in the winter scenery. Though it was a bit glum, it was enough to put her mind at ease for the time being.

The liquor store wasn't too far from where Hayley lived. In fact despite being a sketchy area, if there was any convenience to it, it was that there were plenty of quick stops and food marts nearby as well as a gas station that charged decently.

The only slight downside with the gas station is that the owner's got bad blood with Hayley as she's been caught stealing from the snack bar countless times. She even had the audacity to steal a pack of lighters from right behind the counter when the cashier wasn't looking but little did she know at the time that everything was on camera.

Robert and Hayley arrived at the local liquor store and took their time cruising. While both of them were actually under the age requirement for buying alcohol, Robert managed to get realistic faux ID's off the black market during the time he and Hayley were in a relationship. It nerved Hayley when Robert first brought it up to her knowing she would be sending in a photo of her to someone on the dark web just for a false ID card but the temptation of having easier access to things was something she wanted to give into.

The store was quite cramped and the aisles were narrow which was nerve racking given that there were shelves filled with glass bottles nearby. As Hayley maneuvered through the aisles, she occasionally slipped a few small snacks up her sleeve as well as into her pockets.

Robert came over to Hayley who was still sneaking snacks and held two cases of beer in his hands, "I need you to hold these, I've got to take a call from Carlo."

"Set 'em down right there" she nodded towards a spot on the ground in the corner.

Robert huffed and sat the two boxes of beer down and before he could walk outside, he was brought to an abrupt stop.

"Keys." Hayley stuck her hand out to him.

Robert hesitated, refraining a smile. Hayley stepped forward repeating herself, "Keys, Robert. I haven't gotten an ounce of trust in you."

Reluctant but giving in, Robert handed her the keys and headed out. Hayley heard the bell ring as the door opened and out of the corner of her eye, saw more people enter the store. It wasn't until she made her way over to the next aisle that something, or, someone caught her attention.
