HAYLEY got a rush of fury within her that was soon followed up with great trepidation. She had remembered that just before she left to spend time in the forest, and before she arrived at Chloe's, her father was bringing Robert to the house for questioning about the delivery of packages.

"Why the hell is that fucker texting you, though?!" Hayley seethed.

"I mean," Chloe began scrolling up through the dozens of texts, "he did mention earlier that he tried calling you, but that had to have been while we were eating. Where's your phone?"

Hayley rigorously ran a hand through her hair, "I left it up in your room to charge."

Chloe closed out of the app and shut her screen off, "Right, well as I told you, you're welcome to stay overnight especially if you feel safer that way and as far as Dipshit goes, just call him back tomorrow in the morning. He doesn't know my address so he can't come over here."

"Ugh, yeah but it only means I won't be able to sleep to-"

There came a shout from the other room, "HAYLEY!"

Hayley nearly jumped 10ft in the air, "Son of a bitch, WHAT?!" She yelled back at the blonde girl who was on the other side of the room leaning against the wall.

Rebekah stood proudly with one arm on the wall and the other on her hip, looking smug as ever, "I'm gonna kick your ass tonight and I'm not talking video games."

"I'd like to see you fucking try." Hayley growled as she began striding towards Rebekah who didn't wince one bit.

Chloe ran to pull Hayley back, "Bekah, why do you gotta do that shit?! She's already in an anguished mood so cut the crap!"

Hayley thrashed about in Chloe's grasp, "Let me fucking go! I'll beat her to a pulp!"

Chloe eventually managed to tackle Hayley to the ground as Rebekah cocked her head with a smile on her face before approaching Hayley and kneeling down next to her, "What's got your titties twisted, eh?"

"What's got yours?!" Hayley huffed out aggressively.

"Mate, I'm just messin' with you. I think you're funny to tease around, now come on, what's with all the pent up anger?"

Hayley was huffing heavily as Chloe straddled her, holding Hayley down on her stomach. Rebekah sniggered, "Chloe, let up or she'll black out."

Chloe gave a grunt as she stood up, "It should've been you who I tackled."

"Love, you couldn't have even if you put heart and soul into it." Rebekah replied as she aided Hayley by lending her a hand. "Now, allow me to ask once more, what's with all this pent up anger?"

Dusting herself off, Hayley scoffed, "The fuck is it to you? Why would I give you more leverage to use against me? And that stunt you pulled at the dinner table about my other 'hobbies', I know what you're doing, you hoe, you want me to look bad, so allow me to ask you, Rebekah, what the hell is your problem?!"

Rebekah eyed Hayley cautiously, listening to every word she said before hesitantly muttering out, "I'm sorry."

"You should be." Hayley stated firmly before standing up, "Now, I'm going upstairs, I'd just like some alone time. Chloe, take no offense to it. Rebekah...take offense to it."

Hayley then spun around, her hair whipping as she turned, leaving both Chloe and Rebekah sat on the floor in silence.

Once Hayley entered Chloe's room, she locked herself in and leaned back against the door for a brief moment. The solitude and stillness of the room felt like a sanctuary; Chloe's whole house felt that way.
