While no one in town wanted to live anywhere near Oakley Forest; there is only one family that lives in the outskirts of Falcon Stone. A young girl called Monty Monroe and her dear father Micheal Monroe, a kind astrologer working at the town's observatory.
Since their great great grandfather first built this house, most of the Monroe family stayed there; until recent times where many of their older family passed on. With themselves and Michael's father, Morris, being the only ones around now.
Right now it is a Saturday, meaning Grandfather Morris would be out fishing; so Michael and Monty have the house to themselves for the entire until tomorrow morning. However, where Saturdays usually consists of the father and daughter watching TV or going food shopping. Today is a very special day.
Because tonight, Michael and his daughter will be travelling through Oakley Forest; to reach a set of hills for Monty's first time stargazing session. While Michael has been out many time before to photograph or record different constellations; Monty had never got the chance to do so. Mostly because she was too young at time; her father refused to take her for her own safety. But now with Monty getting older, having turned ten around one month ago, it was time for her time get some more in-depth experience with astrology.
In the Monroe Household
Saturday 10amMichael is searching through the bedroom closet for his telescope. He would always have to get up early to search for the telescope; he always misplaces it, after coming home late at night. Rummaging through the closet, he found the odd bits and pieces from years past. Rubber ducks, old research papers he did when he was young, an old fishing pole; you name it you could find it.
With his blond hair looking frazzled, Michael's fingers felt a wooden object; he recognises it as the case for his telescope case. Once he pulls it out of the closet, Michael looks back towards and awkwardly thought 'I really need to organise that closet when we get back here, tonight.' Closing the door behind himself, he heads towards the stairs; case in hand.
But as he is about to climb up the stairs; he turns his head left to see a picture frame. The picture frame itself was covered in shiny star sticks and with small patches of pink and blue beads covering it. Inside the frame was a picture of three individuals: one was himself, a much younger looking Monty with her ginger hair tied in pigtails and finally in the centre of the picture a gorgeous woman.
The woman had: dark red hair tied in a bun with a few loose strands covering a pair of glasses, her eyes were a deep green almost like looking into an emerald and she wore a light pink dress; covered by a lab coat. In front of the family, there was a red velvet cake with white and black frosting.
'This was Molly's 32nd birthday; the last one before she-'
Stopping his train of thought, he takes a few deep breaths.
'Don't worry Molly, Everything's under control. We're Ok.'
As he reaches the top of the stairs, he turns to his first left; gently opening a door covered in different array of stickers.
Monty's bedroom:
In the bedroom was: a bunk bed with a desk underneath, orange and green checked quilt, dozens of astronomy, transformers or music posters across the dark green walls, a shelf covered from top to bottom in stuffed toys, books or VHS tapes and a TV in the corner. Laying on her stomach in front of the television, was the youngest member of the Monroe family, Monty.
