We all threw our hats up. Laughing with one another, jumping, and kissing. Feels good to be free from high school....it's finally over. I jumped into Wyatt's arms as he approached me. "We did it, baby." He said then kissed me harshly, but it was passionate.
I'm so happy to be going to collage with Wyatt. He has Been nothing, but amazing to me. After picking up a few things we headed off to a party. Miles was throwing. As we drove my heart started pumping. I've never been to a party like this before.
We parked a little down the road. There was no place to park around his house. Wyatt and I got out of the car, and walked up to Miles's place. We were tripping over the drunk bodies every where. The smell of puke and vodka filled our noses in a hurry. We bumped our way through a crowd of people to find Miles.
"ARI! WYATT! OVER HERE!" Yelled Miles. We walked over to Miles who was standing around a whole bunch of Wyatt's drunk friends. "Aye Lads!" I said trying to be louder than the crowds of people and the booming music. Everyone said 'hi'...but one. "Hey, tuts." Said Andy, Wyatt's least favourite of the group. Andy put his arm around me. He smelled like beer and cigarette smoke. I didn't like Andy very well, mostly because he's a bad influence. I felt uncomfortable around him. "Hi, Andy." I said and shoved him off. he put his arm back on me, taking a sip out of a beer filled, red solo cup. Wyatt now grabbed his shoulders and pulled him off me. "You're dunk man." He said laughing. "Yeah... I guess I am." Andy replied.
Wyatt was having fun with his buddies without me, I didn't mind. I made my self the DD (designated driver) for Wyatt, who I saw was getting roaring drunk. I found a quiet ...well quieter...spot to sit at outside. I sat on a low stone wall surrounding Miles's house. "Hey" Miles said as he approached me with two glasses in his hand. "Aye" i said. Miles took a seat next to me. "This is for you" he said handing me the glass. "Oh, no, I'm not drinking tonight." I told him. "Well good thing it's water." Miles smiled. I took the glass from him. "You seem sober... Why aren't you drinking at your own party?" I asked, taking a sip of water afterwords. "I'm not a big drinker." He said. "Have you seen Wyatt? We've been here for 5 hours and I'm starting to get sick of the smell of vomit and half naked people....no offense on your party of course." Miles laughed hysterically before saying "I'll help you look for him."
Miles and I started to look for him. 30 minutes later we found him passed out by 10 empty bottles of beer. I shook him a little til he woke up. "Ari! Baby! Here, have a drink." Wyatt said handing me an empty bottle. "Wyatt, you're drunk hun. Come on...we're going home." Miles and I helped Wyatt walk to My car. "Thanks for all your help Miles... Aslo, thank you for inviting me to your party." I said, then smiled warmly at him. He smiled back "anytime, Ari. Anytime."
I drove Wyatt back to his house. I helped him get out of the car and through the door. We walked up stairs to his bed room, and I lied him down on the bed. "You're not going to feel good in the morning, I hope you know that." I said while taking off his jacket. "Yeah, I guess you're right" he said and turned over, facing the celling. I took his shoes off of him and set his stuff by the bed. I kissed him softy on the lips "bye, Wyatt. I'll call you tomor--" "stay with me?" Wyatt said, cutting me off. "Come on...its tradition." He grabbed my hand and pulled me in the bed with him. He turned to his side, facing me whole wrapping his arms around me. "Alright, alright" I said, kicking off my shoes. "Yay!" He screamed. "Jesus, Wyatt. Keep your voice down" I laughed. He kissed me sloppy then buried his head in my neck. "I love you" he whispered, then fell asleep instantly.
