Wyatt came back like he said an hour later. I was still blow drying my hair from my shower. Damn, I really needed it cut. I linked my arm with Wyatt's as we walked out of my dorm and into his car. I sat myself down in his car. It smelt of smoke, coffee, and aftershave. The smell was actually very pleasant. Wyatt sat down and looked at me. "Everything okay?" He asked with worry in his voice. My head snapped up at him bringing me out of my thoughts. "It's been a while since I've been in your car really." I shrugged and started to pick at my nail polish. "Come to think of it you're right... We always take your car." He smiled and started up the car and pulled out of the parking space. "I think it's safe to say it's our car now." I giggled and turned on the radio. "Indeed."
We sang along to the songs that came on. I asked Wyatt where we were going, but he kept saying it was a surprise. After about 30 minutes he finally pulled into a parking lot. "30 minutes for Wendy's? Seriously? We pasted 10 on the way." I said. This better be the best Wendy's ever. Wyatt laughed hysterically the. Pointed at the restaurant next door. It was a nice looking Chinese place. "Oh.." I mumbled. I noticed how there was no parking space over there.
Wyatt ordered some chicken hibachi as I got some eel avocado sushi. The sushi was absolutely delicious and by far the best I've had in a while. The place was beautiful and I was surprised that I never heard of it. This was the first actual fancy restaurant that Wyatt had took me too. I'm not complaining really... I loved going to Pizza Universe and fast food places with him. This just felt a little special.
After lunch Wyatt and I started walking through the little town. I would stop every once in a while and look at the store windows at the dazzling jewelry. A very pretty wedding ring had caught my eye. I stopped and stared at it for a while. It had a nice silver band with a clean cut round diamond placed on top. Next the the big diamond, there was a smaller black one on both sides. Out of my eye, I could see Wyatt growing a bit impatient. He now noticed at what I was staring at, and he smiled at me widely. I didn't think he knew I saw it though. I sighed and turned to him. He laced our fingers together and nudged me on the shoulder a little. I giggled and nudged him back. He was amazing. This man of mine, just absolutely amazing.
