I've gone with Kaname every time he went to see Yuki. She now always hugs him first then hugs me. One day Kaname caught me fidgeting which is something I never do. "Y/n," Kaname said. I looked at him. "Are you okay?" I nodded. "Liar," he said and sat beside me. "What's wrong?"

"Today my friends are being attacked by Shizuka and there's nothing I can do about it," I muttered.

He frowned. "I thought you said you didn't know the exact day when it would happen."

"I didn't. But I can feel it happening now."

"Well, we'll be seeing Yuki in a couple of days. Let that distract you."

I made a face. "I've tried. It's not working."

He stood. "Just distract yourself with something. It's the best you can do instead of making yourself crazy with worrying."

"I'm not worrying. I already know what's going happen," I said grumpily as I picked up my book.

"That's not helping you. Just calm down and read." He left the room.

I huffed. "Jerk," I mumbled.

~Two Days Later~

Kaname and I walked to the door and he knocked. The door opened and Yuki smiled. "Kaname-sama," she said backing up to let us in.

We both went in and I froze. Zero. I forgot this is where he ends up. He didn't even see me. He was too busy grabbing a knife and attacking Kaname. I reached out and snatched it from his grip. "Zero, stop," I said.

He froze and looked at me. "Y/n?" I nodded. "What are you doing with him?"

"I'm a vampire too now."

His eyes filled with sadness. "So your family was attacked too?" He asked.

"When I was six, yes. I've been with him for the last five years," I said tilting my head to Kaname.

Zero looked at Kaname angrily. "He turned you, didn't he?"

"Yes." He launched but I tackled him to the ground. "Zero, stop! Listen," I pleaded. He stopped struggling. "I asked him to turn me."

He froze and his eyes filled with betrayal which made me flinch. "Why?"

"Because in four years someone I know is going to lose a battle and become a vampire," I said softly. "I want to be able to help him so I became one myself. I'm in complete control and I'm hoping more than anything that I can help him."

"Let me up!" We both stood. "Who?" He asked suspiciously.

I gave him a sad smile. "I can't tell."

"But...you must know!"

I nodded. "I do but I can't tell you."

"You used to tell me everything."

My eyes fell shut. "No, I told you what you need to know." I opened my eyes. "I never told you I knew your parents were going to die but I knew they were." He ran out of the room and Yuki chased him. I was not expecting that pain that flooded through me.

I felt Kaname touch my arm. "Y/n, are you okay?"

I looked at him. "Yeah, he'll understand someday." I looked at the headmaster. "Thank you for taking Zero in."

"It was no problem. I was friends with his parents," Cross said. "But, Y/n, are you planning to be in a class that I'm planning to make?"

"You mean the Night Class?" I asked. He nodded. I thought about it. I had wanted to be a guardian but...I sighed. "Yes."

"Good."

Kaname and I left. "So he was the one you were worried about," Kaname said.

I huffed. "Yes. Him and Inchiru."

He stopped walking for a minute. "Who?"

"Zero's twin."

"But twins are..."

"Rare," I finished for him. "Usually one twin absorbs the other. I know. Zero didn't fully absorb Ichiru so Ichiru was born weak. However, Ichiru is now with Shizuka." I began walking again.

He caught up. "Shizuka?"

"Mm-hmm. He teamed up with her."

"You must be made then."

I shook my head. "I don't blame him. He was tired of being weak and Shizuka's blood will make him healthy."

"Are you saying she doesn't turn him?"

"She doesn't. She keeps him human," I murmured. "He asked her to keep Zero alive so he could kill him."

"You're planning to get in the way of that. Aren't you?"

I smiled. "Absolutely."

"Hey, you guys finished your meeting early," Ichijo said.

"It wasn't a good time," Kaname said as I got in then he got in too.

"Really?"

I nodded. "Yeah. Things happened."

Ichijo frowned. "I didn't think you'd come back hurt, Y/n."

I blinked. "What?" I followed his gaze to my hand. "Oh." My hand must have gotten sliced when I grabbed the knife. "It's alright. It healed already." I licked the blood away. I then leaned back in my seat. This wasn't what I planned but it's the best thing I can do.
