Chris and I had broken up 2 months ago, he was good to me but we argued way to much and he got fed up, we broke up on good terms and still hang out, I still hang out with his brothers and other friends as well, It's like nothing had changed.
Since me a Chris broke up, I no longer had someone to stay in with, therefore I found myself at more parties, drinking more, and kissing random people. I was at a party right now, drinking way to much to remember how I even got here. The more I drank the more people gave me, like they never wanted me to stop "come on y/n just a few more" a guy said sliding more shots to me, I smiled and drank the shots that were put in front of me, for some reason I wanted more, shot's weren't doing it. I grabbed the bottle of alcohol from the guy who was pouring my shots and drank straight from the bottle, not coming up for air, after I filled my mouth with the drink I looked over and saw Chris staring at me, his eyes not darting anywhere else but me and the bottle in my hand.
I looked away from Chris taking one more sip before walking over to him, I wasn't surprised when I saw Matt and Nick next to him, they were always together. "Y/n did you drive here" Matt asked "I don't even know" I said, my words slurred but also clear enough to understand. I rubbed my eyes and almost fell in the process "you need to go home y/n, you have had way to much to drink" Chris said catching me before I made the move of falling on my face "guys I'm perfectly fine" I rolled my eyes "walk in a straight line, heel to toe" Nick said putting his hands in his pocket, I smiled feeling confident that I could do such a silly thing but when I tried, I failed miserably "we'll drive you home, get your stuff let's go" Matt said putting his hand on my back directing me to my things.
When we got in the car, I sat in the back with Nick, I was yawning every 15 seconds and couldn't stop "you can sleep in my room" Chris stated, I just looked at him "Chris that's weird to sleep in the same bed as my ex" I said adjusting myself in the seat "then I can sleep in Matt's room" he said, I had nothing to say so I just let it go.
We pulled into the driveway of their house shortly after we left the party "come on" Chris said opening my door and offering his hand, I took his hand and stepped out the van carefully so I didn't fall.
We all went inside and said goodnight to one another and as each person went to their room I followed right behind Chris and went to his room.
I sat on the end of the bed as Chris walked around getting clothes from dressers and and a toothbrush from the drawer, "well I know you know where everything is so I'll let you get to bed, goodnight y/n" he said as he opened the door, I didn't want him to leave, I felt comfortable with him "Chris can you please stay? I asked, I watched as his head turned towards me in confusion, "of course" he smiled closing the door back and started to get under the cover's. I went and got changed aswell as brushing my teeth. Before getting into bed I turned the light off.
When I laid down next to Chris, I felt him staring, I turned over to face him "Chris" I said putting my hand on his side "y/n" he replied "I still love you" I blurted out, I thought I would have regrets but for some reason, I didn't, I felt relieved to finally say it "I still love you too, always and forever" he smiled as he kissed my forehead.
Chris teling me he still loved me had to be the greatest feeling of all time. I smiled at him and moved closer putting my head right between his collar and neck, he gently played with my hair
"I won't ever stop loving you Chris, and I hope we can try again one day" I said, at this point, I didn't know what I was saying everything that was in my mind just came out "What about right now"
I smiled and kissed him, being apart from him made me realize how much I really appreciated him, I loved him more than anything.
