(You guys are like 17-18)
Madi was currently at my house helping me get ready for a date with her close friend Chris Sturniolo, we were going down to the beach to eat and watch the sunset. Him and I had only spoken a few times and he came across nice, he was also very cute.
"Is this cute?" I asked holding up a white sundress that was mid thigh, had short sleeves, the bottom was waved. "I think it's cute, I think you should wear it" she said picking it up with one hand and trailing her hand on it.
I put it on in the bathroom attached to my room and began to do my makeup at my vanity, Madi did my hair while I did my makeup so I didn't end up rushing, "you are gonna love him and he is gonna love you I promise, you guys are the cutest little thing" she smiled as she picked up my hair to begin working with it "do you think he will actually like me though?" I asked "don't even question it, I can tell he really likes you, he never shuts about you when I'm over" she laughed "really?" I asked smiling like a little girl, it sounded so stupid for me to be 17 and crushing on a boy this much but Chris made me happy and made me feel a way no other person has.
"Ok your hair is done, now as soon as you finish your makeup you'll be ready" she smiled with her hands on my head "wait, how is he going to get me, he can't drive" I said confused "I'm gonna drive you so Matt doesn't make things awkward" she replied "thank you" I smiled finishing up my mascara.
"Done" I said putting down the tube of mascara, "ok good, let's go so we can get to the beach on time" she said grabbing my hand "now hold on Madi, I need to put on deodorant and perfume" I laughed grabbing the bottle of perfume and the stick of native deodorant, once I applied the both of them I took Madi's hand "now I'm ready" I said grabbing my bag and turning off my light "I hope you do know I'm just dropping you guys off then I'm probably just gonna watch the sunset and go out to eat with peyton while you guys do your thing" she said unlocking the car doors "sounds good" I replied getting in the passenger seat.
(Time skip)
We had gotten to the restaurant and got a table outside on the deck. "I'm glad you got to come out tonight y/n" Chris said opening the menu "anytime, seriously I enjoy hanging out with you" of course I enjoyed hanging out with him and his brothers but I didn't wanna make it sound like I didn't like hanging out with him alone.
We ordered our food and started eating but as we finished the sky was starting to change colors "the sky is so pretty" I said looking at the sunset, I could feel Chris staring at me "it really is, but you are too" he said, I couldn't help but smile and blush, I just shook my head in response "I really enjoy being with you y/n" He said poking his finger at the table, with out hesitation or thinking I grabbed his hand and put it into my own, I could see how smiley Chris was getting which made me wanna hold on even longer.
He paid and we walked down to the beach to catch more of the sunset "your favorite color is orange?" I asked, it was very unusual to find someone with a favorite color that different "it is" he smiled, his hand had brushed against mine and few more times after that, it wasn't long before he took my hand to his "you're a wonderful person, you know that?" He asked looking at me and back at the ground "no but I guess I do now" I paused "you're a wonderful person yourself Chris, you're funny and very flirty, I love that about you" I smiled hoping to make him smile too "your funny too" he said using his arm to push into me slightly "Chris look" I said pointing to the sky which was now almost set but yet so colorful "that's almost as beautiful as you" He smiled, I could feel him staring again, I could tell he wasn't trying to hide it either, "you're sweet" I leaned my head on his arm and wrapped my arm with his.
He was amazing.
After dinner we got a ride home from Madi, we took him home first and when we did I got out the car to say one last goodbye "I had a great time" I smiled "I did too and I would love to do it again, would you like to go out next Saturday?" He asked, my stomach filled with butterflies, "of course just let me know what time and where" I said before giving him a hug "goodnight y/n text me when you get home so I know your safe" he said pulling away from the hug "I will" I said walking back to the car.
When I opened the door to the car and sat down Madi stared at me "what did he say?" She asked with a big smile on her face "I have so much to tell you" I said as I started to tell her everything.
I couldn't have been more excited for next Saturday to come around.
