I always hated valentines day, it was so pointless, a day all about love? You can love someone any other day of the year.

I walked into school and saw people with gifts and balloons and flowers already, I wished they all had broken up.

I didn't have valentines day because I was single because that just simply wasn't true, Chris and I had been together for 2 years now and we couldn't be more happier but he always knew how much I hated valentines day even before we got together so he just never really went all out, which was nice in a way because I was never good with reactions for gifts.

"Y/n" I heard a voice say, I turned around and it was my friend Jasmin "hey Jas" I said giving her smile "I know you hate valentines day and I know your not good with presents but I still got you something" she said handing me a small bag "I tell you every year not to and you still go against me" I said laughing, though I wasn't good with reactions, I still loved giving and receiving presents, the joy it brought always made smile, it always showed if people really had paid attention to you.

"So where's your man?" Jasmin asked "I don't really know, Imma text him" I said pulling out my phone sending Chris a text "where are you? Are you coming today?" I asked "yes, I'm pulling up right now meet me at the gate to the parking lot" he replied, I smiled at my phone and took Jasmin's hand "He's here" I smiled practically dragging her with me to go meet up with Chris.

"Do you think he's getting you anything?" She asked "I don't know but ain't hope not, I hate when he spends his money on me" I said, the enthusiasm slightly dropping in my voice.

When we got to the parking lot I immediately spotted the van that the triplets drove every day, we walked over and when we arrived at the van Chris was getting out of the car I didn't hesitate to hug him.

"Hi" he laughed "even though I hate it, you still deserve to be told so happy valentines day Chris I love you" I said placing a kiss on his cheek "you say the same thing every year even before we were together" he smiled returning a kiss on my cheek "I know I know" I took his hand in mine and began to walk with him, his brothers and Jasmin.

(Time skip)
School was finally over, therefore I ended up with Jasmin again, we talked and talked about how our 7th period teacher was always so moody "she's honestly a bitch, like what the fuck do you mean you don't wanna hear me breathe" I said scrunching my eyebrows "right like girl please shut the fuck up, sorry that your husband don't love you" Jasmin said as she moved her hands as she spoke, we laughed more and more until we reached the gate to the parking lot, we walked through the gate and to my car, Chris had made Matt take him home earlier because he claimed he felt sick, so none of the triplets were here for the rest of the day. Well I thought so anyway because I ended up seeing Chris standing in front of the van holding a teddy bear, flowers, a box of my favorite chocolates, and something else that I was unable to see due to how far I was, the more I walked the more I could spot what it was, it was a promise ring.

What was he thinking, was he out of his mind "I know you hate valentines day but bear with me and like it for 5 minutes please?" He pleaded "go on" I said smiling at the brunette boy, he immediately smiled back and put the the main stuff in the backseat with Nick who was smiling at the two of us.

"I got you this ring because I wanna promise you that I will love you no matter what and that I will always try my best for you, and most importantly I promise to annoy you any chance I get" he smiled taking the small ring out of the box and placing it on my finger "ok, you can continue being a hater now" he said, I couldn't help but smile at him, I have him a kiss and looked back at Jasmin to smile at her, but as I did I had realized she was recording and so was Matt "you knew?" I asked "I know everything" she smiled putting her phone in her back pocket.

I wasn't sure if I could hate the rest of the day when I had the perfect people to spend it with.
