I was out to eat with Chris, Matt, Nick and Madi, we had all finished our meals and we were about to pay, or Chris was technically, he offered to pay for everyone since it was my birthday and he wanted to be nice by paying for Madi since her birthday was only a few days after mine not to mention it was one of his best friends.
Chris put his card on the small tray and the server took it away to go swipe it, "thank you Chris" I smiled at him squeezing his hand "of course" he smiled back "when we get back to the hotel I say we go in the pool" Matt said "bitch I'm bloated as fuck" I said "me too" Nick said "me three" Madi added "Who cares, it's just us" Chris said "fine, let's go swim" Madi said, we just shrugged as we realized Chris was right.
The server came back with the receipt "thank you, have a nice night" Madi said as she walked way, Chris took his wallet out to put his card back in but before he did so he looked at the small piece of paper that had "call me Chris" and the server's number on it, I ignored it for the time being and put Chris's card in his wallet for him.
We left and got in the car "y'all seen that shit?" He asked holding up the receipt, "yeah but I just didn't wanna say anything" I said buckling the seat belt "no what is it?" Nick asked "turn on the lights and I'll show you" Chris said turning towards the back seat where Nick, Madi and I sat, we turned on the back lights as Matt turned on the front lights.
Nick took the paper from Chris and read what it said "what is this bitch on? And how does she know your name?" Nick asked as him and Madi read it "did she not see you holding y/n's hand or something?" Madi asked "I don't know but I'm guessing she saw my name on the card" He said taking it back and handing it to Matt "ew" was all he said before giving it back to Chris "honestly like who do you think you are" he said ripping it up "you ok" Nick asked, I looked over at him "I'm fine I just don't really appreciate how this bitch looked at me and Chris and still wrote down her number" I said shrugging my shoulders "I don't either" Chris added.
I didn't talk about it for the rest of the way to the hotel and neither did anyone else.
When we got to our rooms to change into our swim suits Chris stopped me before I could reach the door to the hallway "I hope you know, I would never call her, or anyone else that did that" he said "I know" I opened the door and left the room with Chris behind me "Chris I trust you, I'm not mad, you're getting popular and I can't help the fact that you happen to be a good looking guy" I pressed the elevator button, trying to hurry and get down to the other's "it doesn't matter anyway, I wouldn't go after anybody else when I'm already with the most beautiful girl" he said kissing my cheek, I smiled as the elevator door opened "I love you Chris" "I love you too

Me and Chris finally got down to the pool and we didn't waste anytime jumping in the pool "let's see who can make a bigger splash" Matt suggested, we all said ok and got out of the pool jumping in one by one too see who make a bigger splash, Matt ended up winning because of the way he jumped in and we all had fun being with each other.
I didn't think about the server thing for the rest of night or any day after that, I wasn't going to let some girl ruin my relationship with Chris
