Surprise Pt2

(Yall idk what to say up here but this just follows last part also I forgot Gus is still like 13?! In the epilogue he looks 15 so we're gonna pretend Gus is 15 and Matt is 16 ok thanks lol)

Gus POV
After a little while we landed at my house. Emmiline changed out of a staff and landed on my shoulder. I grabbed Matt's hand and his face turned bright red. It was funny how flustered he got after dating him for so long. I dragged him inside and said hi to my dad. My dad was around more now since he reports at night now. At this point Matt basically lives here so he wasn't surprised to see him. Matt finally moved out of his mom's house and lives with Steve but Steve's often working so he usually just hangs out with me which I didn't mind.

"Where are you two going?" My dad asked from the kitchen. "Just upstairs Matt's taking me to Eat Like A Titan later!" Gus squealed. "How nice what's the occasion that place is super expensive?" Dad replied with a big smile opening oven. "We've been dating for almost a year now and I wanted to take him out to his favorite place." Matt said with a big goofy smile on his face. "You're a good man Mattholomule" He said putting on his oven mitts. Matt's eyes lit up and I'm pretty sure I knew exactly what was going on in his head *OMT Gus's dad just called me a man this is the best day of my life* it was probably something like that. "Can one of you grab me something to set this on?" My dad asked.

Matt's POV: "Can one of you grab me something to set this on?" Perry asked pulling out a tray of something. I quickly act running over to the cabinet where the cooling racks are. I pull out a black cooling rack and unfold it on the counter next to him. I've been here so many times that I have basically memorized the layout. Perry smiled and set the tray of- cookies! On the rack. I felt a giant smile come on my face. I loved Perry's cooking and his baking. His cookies were so good. "Thanks Matt" Perry said taking off his oven mitts smiling. He looked at me and laughed. "Yes you and Gus can have some cookies but they need to cool down for a little bit so go hang out upstairs." Perry said. I squealed and nodded. Gus laughed and grabbed my hand again dragging me upstairs. We got upstairs and Gus plopped on the bed I walked over chuckling and sat next to him. He grabbed my shoulder and pulled me right next to him. He gave me a kiss on the forehead.

I just froze I literally couldn't move. This wasn't weird we kissed all the time but I wasn't used to affection. My face heated up and Gus patted my head laughing. He sat up and turned on the switch? I think that's what he called it. Camilla had taught him how to set it up. He had bought one from Eda along with 4 controllers. Gus and I played a lot of Video games admittedly I really sucked at them the only person I could beat was Amity and occasionally Hunter. Willow was definitely the best though Gus was close second.

Gus walked over and handed me a controller. It was grey and yellow with red hearts drawn on it with sharpie. Gus said this controller was specifically mine. One time Hunter was playing with us and he grabbed my controller on accident. Gus lost it he was yelling at Hunter calling him blind and autistic. It was funny Gus was obviously joking, they joked like that a lot. I also don't know if Hunter is actually autistic but I know he's not blind out of the group his eyesight is the best. Either way it was funny and cute.

Gus sat down next to me, looking at me with a cocky smile on his face. "Heh ready to lose brick boy?" (Reference from Lee the Inhuman check them out on YouTube love them!)  Gus said giving me his best intimidating face. I laughed "Never Mr.President!" I said just as cocky even though I knew I'd lose. He turned on Smash bros which was my second favorite game aside from Mario Kart. I selected Pit and Gus let me pick his character. I chose princess peach. "Ready to go down my princess" I said trying to flirt with him but failed miserably . "If anything you're the princess... my princess" Gus said giving my hand a kiss and winking at me. I literally stopped working and my face turned bright red. Gus burst out laughing. "Y-you're mean" I stuttered trying to calm down.
