Amelia-

I walked to my next class, P.E. Lucia was in this class so U could imagine my excitement when it was time for P.E. As I walked out and darted my eyes all over the place, I couldn't help but wonder who the dark figure was, behind the tree.

But that's a future problem, right now I have to find Lucia, I reminded myself. After searching for 5 minutes straight (gay), till finally I caught a glimpse of her. Our eyes met and she gave me a loving smile, I could only blush realising the clothes she was wearing. She then went back to the game, focused as ever.

She looked so hot in her P.E uniform, I didn't even realise I was staring...until... I felt something wet tickling my nose. I reach my hand over it, only for it to be covered in red, crimson substance. I then felt a little bit dizzy, and before I knew it everything went...black.

Lucia pov-

I look to my left, seeing Amelia standing near the corner of the bleachers. I gave her a warm smile, then I went back to playing. We were playing basketball, and fortunately my team was winning. I was the captain of the basketball team, and Skara was the co captain.

I glanced over to see Amelia again, my face went white as a ghost as I saw her fall to the ground. I went up to the coach rapidly, and asked if I could go check on her. I had to do lots of persuading before he finally agreed. I rush over to Amelia's side taking her by her soft, tender hands.

I then picked her up bridle style and darted to the buses office. I waited around, sitting in the ... uncomfortable office chair. I cared less tho, knowing it was worth it.

Amelia pov-

"Hello? Hello? Is-is anyone there? Please help me. I sobbed as my arms pulled the shackles that were tightly holding my arms. I tried getting up, try to move my legs, but it was no use. The metal ball on my legs were flat into the baren, hard soil. Cuts,bruises, burns, scars surrounded my body as I screamed for help in the eternal darkness.

Giving up, I fell to my knees crying, then a bright light started to appear near my surroundings. My left side having a warm, soft feeling.  I open my eyes fully to see my surroundings, a smile creeps up to my face seeing Lucia asleep on the side of the bed. I bring my hands up to play with her hair, after a few minutes of silence. I feel Lucia shaking awake, she looks up at me with concern and worry as she squeezes my hand.

I squeeze back and reassure her. Soon after that I could finally go home after hours of staying in the nurses office, passing tests and getting fed. Honestly the food they gave U in the nurses office were ass, they tasted like food that's stayed in the fridge for dayyys.

Time- now

Amelia pov

I walk hand in hand with Lucia, the time I got out I'm pretty sure Im already deaf, due to the things Lucia said with worry. Finally we got back to the owl house, Lucia cooking dinner since Eda said she'd be late because her boss said something came up and she had to work overtime.

After a few shared jokes, kisses and food, we finally went up to Lucia's bedroom. We go under the covers, cuddling each other in the endless night sky. Lucia's chin on-top of mine as I leaned and buried my head into her chest, my new favourite spot.

Not a minute longer I feel Lucia's breathing slowed and a few soft snoring coming out of her mouth. I giggle a bit before my mind wanders to the black, shadowed figure from earlier. I couldn't help but stay awake, wondering who it was. ' who is he/she?, why have they been following and watching me and Lucia? What are their tactics? Whats their game?' Thoughts crowded my mind before being silenced with distant sounds of crickets chirping away through the night.

I could feel my eyes becoming heavier and heavier, till I finally have in. The problems I can't fix or know of is for the future. my mind reassured, finally turning off the light.

3rd person pov-

Little do they know something is coming for them...or someone. Waiting to strike when their guard is down.

??? Pov

- when r we gonna strike!? A voice said in anger and impatience in the darkness.

- soon, soon be patient..

- NO! CAN'T U SEE THEIR JUST WEAK, USELESS BEINGS!? WE SHOULD STRIKE....NOW! AMELIA'S ALREADY SPOTTED ONE OF US, hopefully not the face. The voice says thundering through the dark room.

- NO! I SAID NOT YET, THIS CONVERSATION IS OVER! The once calm voice said with annoyance.

- b- b- okay, fine. Have it your way, but we're missing an open...and opportunity. Scowled the impatient voice.

- U R DISMISSED, the person said walking a bit into the sunlight revealing that he has blue eyes but a golden mask and deer like antennas.

- yes master... the person says finally walking off.

Click, the man with the golden mask clicks his hands and summons a boy wearing a similar golden mask like him, but it was shaped almost like a bird, and a white cape. He was holding a staff that had a half like wing  on the right and a red stone in the middle.

??? - U called for me? The boy said kneeling down and bowing his head.

- I want U to attend to this school, gain their trust and report back to me.

???- as U wish, the boy said standing up and putting his left arm to his chest. 'When may I start?' he says formally

- tomorrow, ur dismissed.

- as U please, the young boys voice could be heard before walking into the shadows still bowing.

I release my breath through my mask, realising I haven't been breathing. I take on the next task assigned to me and kill the sea hydra, the beast that has kept lurking the waters holding onto a prized possession master wants.

Actually master is my uncle. But he sure doesn't act like one, I wouldn't dare say that to anyone tho.. I thought dragging the see hydras head to his palace.

The time......   Is soon, the dark figure said still sitting on his throne, smirking with a menacing smile plastered on his face.

Hello! Hope U enjoyed that, and that I'll see U in the next chapter. You'll soon find out what he  mean by, "the time is soon". U might already know who the two masked figure is, but how about the other one? The impatient one.. can U take a guess?

I'm very sorry to inform but like I said I'm doing more angst, I hope U have a good day/night/ afternoon, hope U have a good one!

(P.S- I kinda forgot about the two masked figures, I'm not saying the names cause well if U don't know... It's a ✨suprise✨. But now I'm adding them in  and bending the idea in my head.)
