Two stranger turned friends

Lucia pov ( this book will mostly be in her pov)

I help them up, seeing that they're badly beaten, with the girl having a busted lip and a few bruises and scratches. The boy had a black eye and fire burns on his skin along with some scratches that led to bleeding.

' Thanks, U didn't have to do that', the girl says with a smile and a shy voice. ' hey are U new here'? Ask the boy, I nod my head. 'No problem, I'm Lucia, Lucia Noceda Clawthorne'. I'm Wionna the girl said, and I'm Augustus. Just call me Gus, I stick my plan to them and they take it shaking.

I see Amelia and ask a question. ' hey, um... 'Do U guys know Amelia?'

They look at me in fear and hatred, ' Amelia, Amelia Blight? They say in unison. ' yeah we do, she's the biggest bully in the school after boscha' said Gus

'May I ask, but who's boscha?' I say with curiosity

Wionna- the girl who beat us up earlier wionna said in annoyance. Amelia is also ' Little Miss Perfect' we used to be friends until on her birthday, that I helped decorate and plan. She kicked me out and said we weren't allowed to be friends anymore cause I'm weak.

Lucia- I don't get it though, yesterday she seemed nice. Even today, I say.

Wionna- just promise us you'll stay away from her, before she hurts U too.

I nod my head knowing I wasn't going to keep that promise. I was about to say something until the bell rung, meaning it's class time. 'I didn't get to smoke, fuck.. oh well, I'll do it later' I say putting my cigar back into the pocket. 'Friends' willow and Gus say holding out a hand. I took it and repeated them, 'Friends'.

Unexpectedly when I took their hand they pulled me in and hugged me, 'thank you again, see you later' they say in a happy voice flashing a smile. I smile back and head to class.

Le gay time skip, (cause I don't wanna explain what happens in class. It's just boring, though I will explain what happens when Amelia and Lucia get closer.)

Once class was over, it was already lunch. I head to the cafeteria grabbing my food and seeing Gus and Wionna on a table alone, well they have eachother but U know what I mean. I go up to them and ask politely, 'hey, this seat taken?' they both shook their heads and I take a seat.

After a few moments of jokes and laughing, a person comes up to us. I turn around to see who it is and see it was that pink haired bitch again, boscha. I glared at her and she looked surprised glaring back and turning her attention to Wionna and Gus.

' what up losers, give me Ur lunch money and nothing's gonna happen'. Gus and Wionna looked terrified, so I decided to speak.

Lucia- No. I say in a emotionless but annoyed voice

Boscha- What? She said stunned

Lucia- didn't U hear me? Or are you deaf? I say asking with confidence. I. Said. No. Glaring at her with an ice cold glare.

I look at her straight ( gay) in the eyes and see that behind them were fear. I smirk knowing that I've won.

Boscha- W-well, looks l-like I'll let go of U this t-time.

I heard her say stuttering and she walks back to her table. I look back at my food and suddenly lost my appetite. I look back at where the pink haired bitch sat and I saw.... Amelia? Why is she there?

'Is it really true?' is what Gus and Wionna say is true?' that she's the biggest bully in the school after the pink haired bitch?' ' Is she really Little miss perfect?' thoughts crowded my mind. Until....

I got caught staring at her, she looks back at me. I turn away hoping she didn't see that I was staring, I feel blood rush onto my cheeks. I turn around and shes walking up to me.

Amelia- Quit staring low life, or I'll ask my friends over there, she said while pointing to boscha and some other girls. To beat U up, and this time, they'll show mercy. She said in a threatening, emotionless voice. It sounded like she meant it, but if U look closer, hear better, it sounds like she was faking it.

I was surprised with her choice of words, 'was it true?' I didn't wanna believe what Wionna and Gus said is true, cause I believe everyone deserves to be known before being judged. I then realised her voice, deep down I felt like it was all a... Facade an act that made her need to do this.

'But why?' What is Amelia hiding that is needed to be kept a secret? All those questions flooded my mind, until I just nodded to what she said. She then walked off leaving me, Wionna and Gus. Wionna and Gus probably relieved while I'm wondering.

She is always wearing long sleeves, and pants, or fishnets. ( Just imagine the beta version of amity but her dress is with long sleeves). What could she possibly be hiding under all those clothing? It was autumn, and it's suprisingly hot in here. In Connecticut it was always cold in autumn. Here it's the opposite.

So if it's so hot in here, why is she wearing those clothes. Hell, if I was wearing those, I would've already died by being suffocated in those. Maybe it's as something from her past, like me. U shudder at the memory of my past, my horrible father.

( I have decided her father won't be dead in here, tho he will be kinda awful with a bad reputation that ruined Lucia making her not have any friends, cause nobody would want to be friends with a child who's father is a _________________ I'm not revealing that just yet.)

What could Amelia be experiencing that makes her act like this? And what is in Lucia's past that makes her wanna run away from it?
