Lucia pov
I looked at the time, shit I better go home now or else I'll have to pay eda a few dollars. To be exact, every 10 minutes I'm late I have to pay 20 dollars. I don't wanna do that, I'm literally BROKE. I have to go now before I officially become homeless. I mumbled to myself.
'Hey uh I gotta go, nice meeting U Amelia' I said with a soft voice and a nice smile waving back at her. ' yeah I gotta go too, or my mum will kill me. Like Literally. She chuckled before we both part ways me going one way and her going the other. I waved her good bye. She smiled a bit and waved back.
My heart skipped a beat, seeing her smile and as I looked back, my heart ached. Why am I feeling this? Wait no- Mierda, I can't think like this Ive only just met her. Yet it feels like I've known her forever I blurted out without thinking in a dreamy voice. I snap back into reality, WTF is happening to me!?

' Hey uh I gotta go' I heard the Latina say Nice meeting U Amelia she added making heat come up my cheeks. ' yeah I gotta go too' or else my m will kill me, Like literally. I say trying to make a little joke.
Hold on, I don't usually do this. I don't make jokes, so why now!?
The girl beside me gave a little chuckle that made my heart flutter. She waved goodbye as we parted ways with a large grin plastered on her face. I wave back smiling to return the manner. Why the fuck do I feel like this!?
I walked back home expecting my mother to be standing right there ready to scold her again, but noo... Maybe her luck is changing, she thought as she went to bed dreaming about a certain girl.
Sorry if it's a bit short, I just wanna go to the chap where Lucia already goes to school/highschool but if I did it wouldn't make sense.
I'll make another chap in a few hours, it's like really late rn. I just stayed up reading and writing.
