Still out front of the Mystery Shop, Vil and Rook have been having a battle of Cat and Mouse, Vil shotts Rook with the bean blaster and Rook tries to capture Vil. Soon, the stops are starting to show signs of exhaustion.

Vil breathes heavily, "You're my own vice housewarden, and I'm still bewildered by your stamina."

Rook does the same, "Roi du Poison, every shot from your bean blaster is like a bolt of lightning!"

"You're stooped low, crouched like a predator. I can barely keep my aim trained on you!" Vil says, "All I need is for one bean to land, and I win...but my bean supply is dwindling fast.

"Ah. I see you've run out of beans, Vil," Rook says, "Would that I could chase you until the moon lays high in the sky. Sadly, I believe it's time for the curtain to fall."

"Heh... So it is. I'm exhausted after running around all day. I don't have the energy to flee," Vil says, and with no other choice, "I yield, Rook."

"Roi du Poison..." Rook says, and remains silent for a minute.

He then adds, "Might I embrace you in honor of the splendid fight you provided?

"By 'embrace' I assume you mean 'capture'...right?" Vil questions.

Rook ends up doing just that, and now Vil has been captured and eliminated from the game.

Vil soon looks at himself, "My clothes and hair are all filthy. I need a shower, ASAP."

"Rest assured, you remain a paragon of poise, even when caked in mud and sweat!" Rook happily says.

Meanwhile, at the front gate...

Silver is running towards the gate and reaches it.

He says to himself, "Normally, the coliseum hardly seems far from the Hall of Mirrors at all... But when you have to be wary of potential ambushes on all sides, the road there feels several times longer."

Suddenly, he hears Lilia's voice, "Heh heh... And it's only worse when you know just how dangerous your foes are."

Silver turns around to see, "Lilia! Jamil!"

"Hm?" Lilia replies, looking around, "I don't see Floyd and Epel. Did you get separated? Poor boy."

"The coliseum's barely a stone's throw away, but I'm afraid you'll never make it there," Jamil says.
