Bryce slowly opened his eyes, blinking the sleep out of them. The ceiling was the first thing he saw, shifting his eyes down to his bed. He looked over, seeing Liam was sleeping right next to him, his arms tightly wrapped around his body, his face buried against Bryce's chest. Bryce smiled, as he looked over at his alarm clock, which read 9:21 AM. Oh crap..he was going to have to get up and get ready for work soon.
But apart of him really didn't want to get up, he just wanted to stay in bed with his lover. He sighed, turning his head back over to look at Liam once again. He stared down at Liam's face, watching him sleep as his eyes were shut. The sunlight was slightly spilling out the window, some of it casted onto the bed, but luckily nowhere near the two men's faces. Bryce listened to Liam's soft snoring. He couldn't help but smile more, as he looked at him longer.
The way Liam breathed in, and then slightly exhaled out through his mouth, god it was just so cute. Bryce could listen to this for hours, only if he could right now. But putting that aside, he once again looked at Liam's face, admiring his features. His eyes traced to each little freckle that was covering Liam's face. That wasn't the only place though, Liam also had freckles covering his shoulders, and thighs, which usually weren't seen because he tended to wear a hoodie and long pants. But there literally wouldn't be a month without Bryce reminding Liam every now and then of how amazing he'd look with those little freckles.
That wasn't the only thing Bryce loved about him, next were his eyes, which were sadly closed right now, so he couldn't look at them, but when they were open, my god where they the most perfect shade of pale green that he's even seen. The best he could describe was that they looked like a mix of jade and sea-green. He could stare into those eyes for hours, they were just so beautiful. And when they would come into contact with the sunlight, they would seem to sparkle a little.
His eyes then traced down to Liam's body, smiling lovingly as he gently stroked his abdomen. Compared to Bryce's more thinner and longer figure, Liam was a lot more shorter, and pudgy. But Bryce didn't see that as a bad thing, he thought Liam still looked cute. Plus, he loved that whenever they hugged, his arms would always tend to sink into Liam's skin a bit, as if he was a memory foam mattress. Often when they laid together on the couch, Bryce often rested his head against Liam's stomach, in which he didn't mind. There were often times when Liam felt like he was getting a bit too fat, and wanted to change it, but Bryce would always remind him that there was no need to do that, he loved him just the way he was.
And last but not least, Liam's personality. He really was one of the nicest people he's met, asides from Amelia, but back to the topic. There was something so sweet and calming when it came to Liam, whenever he was around him, the two just felt so relaxed. Sure, Liam did have a bit of a temper, but it was usually never projected at Bryce, unless we were to say that one time during ONE. But regardless, even if Liam ever did get angry at him, it usually wouldn't last long. Plus, when Liam often took care of Bryce, whenever he was sick or something, he'd be so gentle and caring, that you'd swear you could be instantly cured by it.
Bryce stopped thinking, when he saw Liam's eyes flutter open a bit. He slowly looked up, now seeing Bryce staring at him right in the eye. "Morning, love....", Bryce whispered, planting a kiss onto his cheek. Liam covered his mouth to yawn, before smiling back up at him. "Morning, hon..", he said sleepily. "Uh...how long were you staring at me?" Bryce smiled, stroking his hair. "Oh, for a while..I was just admiring how beautiful you are...", he said. He noticed a bit of blush tint Liam's face, as his smile grew a bit bigger. Bryce glanced back over to the clock, his eyes widened a little as he saw it now read 9:39 AM. If he stays here any longer, he might be late!
He looked back over at Liam, once again feeling the urge to not get out of bed. He sighed, kissing his hair. "I'm sorry, Liam...as much as I want to stay...I gotta get ready for work...", he said, sitting up a little. He instantly felt Liam's grip on him get a little tighter. "Ugh, but this is literally the perfect moment right now...", Liam grumbled, now frowning. Bryce breathed in a bit, laying back down a bit. "I know...I don't want to leave...", he said, wrapping his arms around the other. "Can we at least stay like this for a couple more minutes?", Liam asked, looking at him with those green eyes. Bryce huffed a little, looking back at his clock and then Liam. "Okay...okay...but just a minute or two...", he said.
They stayed like that for awhile, cuddling against each other, feeling the warmth from the blankets and each other's bodies seeping into the other. Bryce hated it when they could only stay like this for a few minutes during workdays, at least when it was the weekend it didn't suck as much. After about the third minute passed by, Bryce reluctantly sat up. "Alright, I really need to get ready...", he said, and Liam groaned. Bryce squirmed out of his grip, going over to his dresser. Liam felt his arms flop down, feeling a bit defeated. "Bryyyycee...come baaack...", he whined quietly, and Bryce chuckled a bit. "Look, when I get back from work, then we can cuddle all we want, okay?", he reassured. This time it was Liam's turn to huff. "Fine...", he said, sitting up, watching Bryce get ready for the day.
