Dancing

Spinning around a bit while wiping the counter, Liam hummed along to the song that was playing on the computer. It's been awhile since the kitchen had been cleaned, so Liam figured he'd do Bryce a little favor, and clean the whole thing for him. After all, he's the one who's always home, so he considered it as a weight being lifted off his shoulders. Texty had searched up a playlist, as requested by Liam, and turned the volume up pretty high, so that the whole apartment was just filled with the music.

Smiling, Liam hummed some more, taking the cloth he was using and running it back under the sink, his eyes closed. All he could focus on was cleaning, and whatever song was playing right now, the lyrics filled up his head. While he wasn't a very good singer, Liam couldn't help but shift his body around a bit, swaying along with the beat. Ringing the cloth out, we went back to wiping down the rest of the counter, now finally finished. Putting the cloth away, Liam figured that it'd only be about a few more hours till Bryce gets back.

He looked at the computer, before deciding that dancing for a while wouldn't hurt. He started moving around the apartment, bobbing his head up and down, with his arms stretched out a bit, waving in sync to the song. Swaying his body, constantly shifting back and forth, he smiled. He was really glad Bryce wasn't here to see this. If he did, oh god, he'd probably never hear the end of it. It'd be so embarrassing, and he had to convince Texty not to tell him anyways.

Finally telling himself to stop worrying about Bryce, he continued on, enjoying it while he could. Snapping his fingers a bit, Liam moved a bit more to the rhythm, jumping up before spinning around in midair. As the song was starting to speed up a bit, Liam's movements started to get a little more erratic, swiftly shifting himself from here to there. His eyes were kept closed the entire time. As he was about to do another, a voice stopped him dead. "Liam...?"

Almost immediately, Liam snapped around. There, at the door, was Bryce, who looked just about as shocked as Liam did. The two stood there in awkward silence, before Bryce cleared his throat. "I...didn't know you could dance..", he finally said, laughing a little. Liam immediately felt his face grow hot, looking down at the ground. "Uh...well...", he started, not knowing what to say. Bryce noticed his embarrassment, and smiled. "Hey, it's nothing to be ashamed about, Liam...I thought it was pretty good..", he reassured, causing the other to look up. "H..huh?" His entire face was red.

Bryce closed the door, walking up closer to Liam. He took his hand, smiling down at him. "I said it was pretty good. How come you've never said anything?", he asked. "I thought you wouldn't be here for another few hours...", Liam suddenly mumbled, looking back down at the ground. "They let me leave work early, so...", Bryce explained. "Oh...uh...well...I thought you'd make fun of me for it...", Liam then admitted. "What exactly makes you think I'd do that?", Bryce asked, cocking an eyebrow. Liam looked up, before Bryce brought his lips towards him.

For a second of shock, Liam immediately relaxed, melting into the kiss, wrapping one of his arms around Bryce's head, the other around his body, as he did the same. Staying like that for a few minutes, Liam didn't feel as embarrassed as he did before. At the very least, Bryce had the opposite reaction that he had thought about. Finally, they pulled away. "Say...this gives me an idea..", Bryce said, with a smirk. Confused, Liam watched as we walked over to the laptop.

Stopping the current song that was playing, he started typing something into the search bar, Liam just watched, wondering what he was doing. Then, some sappy romance song started playing, and Liam's eyes widened before he smiled a bit, groaning. "Really?", he asked, and Bryce walked back over to him, with a huge grin on his face. "What?", he questioned, before taking his hands into Liam's. He blushed a little, but smiled when he looked into Bryce's eyes.

"Alright...ready?", Bryce asked. Liam looked around, took a deep breath, and slowly nodded. The two started to step back a little, just looking into each other's eyes, before stopping, and this time, Liam stepped backwards. They repeated this a few times, until Bryce gripped their hands a bit, spinning themselves around. Liam looked down, before a small smile started to appear on his face. They swirled around again, and again. As he stared into Bryce's brown eyes, he could really see the love and admiration in them. The two smiled at each other, and Bryce leaned in a bit. "How about we spice things up a bit?", he asked, and without warning, he suddenly jerked around, causing Liam to get pulled into one direction.

"Woah!", he cried, and Bryce laughed. After regaining his balance, Liam shot a playful glare at his partner, now ready to do the same. With all his strength, he then jerked another way, pulling Bryce along with him. The redhead had a look of shock on his face, but then erupted into laughter once again. Liam smiled, then dropping down a bit. Bryce looked down at him with shock, but Liam merely crouched down, still holding onto Bryce's hands. He then realized what he was trying to do, grinning. He kept his ground, as Liam spun swiftly, Bryce practically feeling himself swinging around, his hair flowing through the air briefly.

Getting closer towards each other, the two men shuffled their feet in rhythm to the music, taking small steps. Swaying their bodies from side to side, they then spun around again. They continued on, doing this for what seemed like hours, although it was really only for about twenty more minutes. Finally, as two felt exhausted, they waltzed their way over to the couch, crashing down onto it.

Bryce smiled as he looked up at Liam, who was panting a little. "That was pretty fun, huh, Romeo ?", he joked, earning a punch to his shoulder. "Y..yeah...", Liam said between breathes. "But...don't call me that..." Bryce chuckled, hugging Liam. "Still though, we should do that again sometime.." Liam felt himself blush a little. Honestly, he was now feeling pretty glad that Bryce accidentally caught him dancing. That was pretty fun, and he secretly hoped they'd do it some more.

But for now, the two cuddled against each other, falling asleep on the couch.
