Bit of language here
Bryce slammed his car door as he sat down in the driver's seat. Good god, was today rough. Not only had today been really busy, but at least like two customers yelled at him at the counter, like a mother with her kid, who clearly just wanted to go and sit down to eat, and the other was a man who seemed to be having a rough day too, but regardless, Bryce sighed as he sunk into the car seat a little.
Reaching for the seat belt, he buckled in, placing his hands on the wheel. He couldn't wait to get home, and more importantly, be with Liam. As he drove out of the lot, and down the road, he kept thinking about how crappy his day was today, frowning more at the thought. Sure, it wasn't like this would really be a big deal anyway, but for the past few days, Bryce had been feeling a bit more irritable, likely just holding his frustrations in. As his thoughts went on, the more he felt his anger rise. He made it to the hotel, going inside the building.
Liam was on the laptop, watching some videos when he heard the door click and open. He turned to see Bryce, although he had a rather annoyed expression on his face. "I'm home...", he gruffly said, walking towards the couch. A little concerned, Liam closed the laptop, getting up. "Hey! Uh...you okay?", he asked, following him. Bryce flopped down onto the couch, groaning a bit. "Not really...today was kinda...shit..", he mumbled. Liam frowned, standing by the couch. "Oh...well..is there anything I can do?", he asked. Bryce simply looked up at his boyfriend, before turning his gaze back to the wall. "No...not right now.." Liam nodded, before going back to the table. He figured Bryce just wanted to be alone for a bit.
As soon as he walked away, Bryce felt like face palming himself. Why did he say no?! Of course he wanted Liam to do something, maybe just lay with him, that was all! Why'd he have to be so stupid? Why does he always say that he doesn't need anything, or any kind of comfort when he clearly does?! Shutting his eyes tight, he groaned. Why does he do these kinds of things to himself?! "UGH!"
Liam looked back up from the laptop, leaning over a bit trying to see Bryce's face. He slowly got up again, before walking over. "Bryce..?", he asked, before the other sat up, and turned around to face him. There were tears starting to form on Bryce's eyes. Liam's eyes widened, before he went over to the couch, putting his hands onto Bryce's face. "Hey, hey...", he started, sitting down next to him. Bryce looked down, not wanting to see his boyfriend's face. He hated crying, especially in front of other people. "Bryce, look at me honey, please..", Liam gently said, placing one of his hands on his chin. Reluctantly, Bryce looked up, staring into those mesmerizing pale green eyes of Liam.
Sniffling a bit, tears started pouring down his cheeks. "Bryce...just let it out. It's okay..", Liam said quietly. Finally that did it, Bryce practically threw himself into Liam's chest, instantly feeling his arms wrap around him. He sobbed into his hoodie, while he could hear Liam softly shushing him, rubbing circles into his back. As he continued, Bryce realized that maybe this wasn't so bad, I mean, he was finally getting all these negative emotions out of his body, and he was doing it right next to his partner. Or, directly into his partner, that is.
After about a few minutes, he started to calm down, lifting his face from the hoodie, to look back at Liam. "You feel any better?", he asked, with a warm smile. Just seeing that made Bryce instantly feel all melty inside. He nodded, sniffling a bit. "Sorry...I just...", he started, but Liam put a finger to his lips. "Don't apologize hon, you had a rough day, I get it. There are times when we need to get everything out..", he said. Bryce smiled a bit, wiping his tears away. "Have you been feeling like this for a while?", Liam asked with a hint of concern in his voice. "Y..yeah..I guess today just...", Bryce stopped, sighing.
"Well..the good thing is that you got it all out of your system, but Bryce...", Liam started as he wrapped his arms around him once again. "You shouldn't bottle up your stress like that. If you ever start feeling frustrated or upset, just come to me, please.", he said, looking into Bryce's eyes. Bryce felt like he couldn't utter a word, so he just nodded. Liam leaned in and kissed him on the lips. "How about we just relax here for the rest of the night?", he asked. "S..sure...I really could use some rest..", Bryce said
Smiling, the two laid down on the couch, Liam being on the bottom, and Bryce laying on top of him. Sighing as he wrapped his arms around Liam, feeling them sink into him a little, he buried his head into his chest. He then noticed the large tear-stained spot on Liam's hoodie, and he looked up at him. "Uh...sorry if I ruined your sweatshirt a bit..", he smiled a bit sheepishly. Liam giggled a little, shaking his head. "I don't mind..now just close your eyes and relax, love.."
Resting his head back into his chest, Bryce closed his eyes, as he listened to his partner's breathing. Soon enough, he dozed off, Liam soon doing the same.
