drop pop candy (ink nijihara x reader)

You were just an average transfer student at a high school. You were quite antisocial, only having one friend. Sumi Kuroi. You had pretty nasty grades overall due to stress with moving but your worst class was by far English. You failed nearly all of your assignments. Your grades were even worse than Nao's. There's no way you're passing.

"Yikes, Y/N.. How are ya gonna pass with grades like those? Are you sure you're gonna make it to graduation?" Your best friend Sumi had a concerned expression on her face. "Yeah, I'm sure that I..... Won't." you reply. "Hmph.. How pathetic.. But you are my friend so I suppose I'll help.. Don't take this as me being nice though!" You chuckle in response to Sumi's hostility. What a tsundere she is. "Anyways, I know somebody that may be able to help you out. Her name is Ink. Ink Nijihara." "Is she a friend of yours?" The purple haired girl blushed in response. "N-No! She's my rival! Anyways, see that short, childish girl with the pink hair and the blue hairclips? That's her. Anyways, I have to go home and feed Karks. Seeya." You watch the small purple haired lady walk away. What in the world was her deal?

You approach the short pink haired lady, who was apparently named "Ink". She was seen playing a fighting game on a portable console while snacking on strawberry pocky. "Hey, you're Ink right?" "Nooooooooo....... I lost......... Hm? Yes, that's me. Hello there!" She gave you a bright smile. "I need your help. Finals are coming up for English class and my friend Sumi said you may be of good help. I'll even pay you, just please. I can't fail, my parents will kill me!" "Hehe, if you're a friend of Tempera then of course!" Tempera? Weird. Must be some sort of nickname. "We can meet up at my place! My room is super big so it'll be perfect!" That childish smile of hers was adorable.

You two have been studying together for a while. Your grades have significantly increased. Going from an F to a B-. Not an A+ but better than failing.

As for your relationship with Ink, you two became more than study buddies. You became really close friends. Possibly even closer than you were with Sumi. 

"Y/N....? Could we speak somewhere in private?" The small, timid woman seemed even more timid for some reason. You nod your head and meet up by a nearby playground, getting milkshakes.

"Um....." Ink takes a sip from her strawberry shake, seeming flustered for some reason. "I love you, Y/N. Romantically....." 

That was not what you expected as Ink was always good at hiding her status as a hopeless romantic. You certainly did not complain though as deep down.... You felt the same way.

"I love you too, Ink Nijihara." as you hugged her passionately.
