The moon hung low in the sky, casting a soft glow over the ivy-covered walls of Welton Academy. Knox Overstreet tiptoed through the shadows, his heart racing with excitement. Beside him, Y/N whispered nervously, her eyes wide with anticipation.

"You sure we won't get caught, Knox?" Y/N asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

Knox flashed a mischievous grin. "Positive. Trust me, I've done this before."

With a flick of his wrist, Knox produced a small key and unlocked the door to the Welton building. The ancient wood creaked as they slipped inside, the thrill of their clandestine adventure coursing through their veins.

Once inside, Knox led Y/N down the dimly lit corridors, their footsteps echoing against the polished floors. They passed by rows of closed doors, the hushed silence of the school enveloping them like a blanket.

Finally, they reached Knox's dorm room, and he pushed the door open with a flourish. The room was bathed in moonlight, the shadows dancing across the walls as they entered.

"Welcome to my humble abode," Knox said, gesturing grandly to the room.

Y/N laughed, the sound echoing off the walls. "It's not exactly Buckingham Palace, but it'll do."

Knox grinned, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "Care for a tour?"

Y/N nodded eagerly, and Knox began to show her around the room, pointing out various trinkets and mementos scattered about.

"And this," Knox said, holding up a battered copy of Shakespeare's Sonnets, "is my prized possession."

Y/N raised an eyebrow, a playful smile tugging at her lips. "A bit cliché, don't you think?"

Knox shrugged, his grin unapologetic. "Maybe. But there's something about the Bard that speaks to me."

As they continued to explore the room, their conversation flowed effortlessly, the hours slipping away unnoticed. They laughed and joked, sharing stories and secrets long into the night.

At last, as the first light of dawn began to filter through the curtains, Knox turned to Y/N with a sheepish grin.

"I hate to say it, but I think it's time we head back," he said, his voice tinged with regret.

Y/N sighed, reluctantly nodding her agreement. "Yeah, I guess you're right. But hey, thanks for the adventure, Knox. It was definitely one for the books."

Knox smiled, a warmth spreading through his chest. "Anytime, Y/N. Anytime."

And with that, they slipped out of the dorm room and back into the silent halls of Welton Academy, their laughter fading into the early morning light.
