Suddenly the waitress appeared with two milkshakes, placing them down between us. "Two raspberry milkshakes. And your waffles will be here in a minute," she smiled before walking off.

Steve turned to a little juke box model next to us and pushed a coin in, before pressing number six, causing the music on the speakers to change. The music was nice and catchy, like it was made to immediately lighten someone's mood. I closed my eyes, swaying my head to the song.

Steve smiled looking around. "Come," he said, placing his hand out. I opened my eyes, seeing his breath-taking smile. I looked down at his hand, confused by what he ment.

"What?" I asked, a giggle escaping my soft pink lips.

"Come, let's dance," he smiled, keeping his hand out.

I smiled and took his hand, swayed by his charm. He stood up, pulling me up with him. in one swift movement he pulled his hand around my waist and kept the other in my other hand. He immediately started dancing, moving his feet perfectly. He smiled down at me, keeping his eyes locked on mine. His smile made me giggle, dancing along. We danced around the diner, earning smiles from the five people inside. Unbothered by them, Steve swayed me off my feet by turning me around and making me laugh.

There was something about him that made me smile, even though my lie was a complete mess right now. Maybe it was the way he smiled, or his icy blue eyes. Maybe it was because he always smelled like a 20's cologne or maybe it was because he was always friendly and caring when with me. I just didn't have any reason to be sad when I was around him. He gave me one final swirl before the song reached its end. He dropped me down, still holding me around my waist. I gave a laugh as he pulled me up, letting me stand again.

We sat back down, merely seconds before the waitress handed us our waffles. "You guys are a cute couple!" she smiled, before walking off again. I gave a slight giggle, before looking down at my food. It was two waffles with syrup running over them. They had little raspberries in them with a few on top. It looked quite good.

"You're a good dancer," Steve complimented, smiling at me.

I gave a smile, looking back up at him. "I had practice in the past," I laughed.

He started telling me stories about how life was like when he was younger, and I was open to listen. They were so in detail and mostly funny. He didn't once mention work or his love life. He seemed to be able to just lock all of those things out. We ate as he described his hometown and all the things he did as a child. The more he spoke, the more I realized on what type of childhood I ever had. But that didn't bother me. I enjoyed hearing his past.

Soon we were finished eating and we were heading back out to his motorcycle. Three boys were outside playing with a frisbee, when a boy suddenly accidentally missed it, causing it to fly straight at us. I turned around to face Steve, when the frisbee flew straight into my face, hitting me above the eye. I fell back, when suddenly feeling blood fall down my eye from the cut.

"Shit!" Steve yelled falling to the ground.

"What was that?" I asked, lifting my hand to my head, suddenly feeling the blood. "Oh, blood," I giggled, trying to sit up. The boys rushed over to us, immediately apologizing. I forgave them, but the blood didn't stop.

"I'm taking you home princess," Steve laughed, pulling me up from the ground.

He helped me on the bike and drove to my hotel as fast as he could. Eventually the blood became a lot less and the cut just formed blood around the edges. The streets were quite busy since it was almost seven at night. But Steve knew shortcuts, that I self didn't know of. I held onto him tightly as I was still a bit dizzy.
