I was always told to keep silent, Keep the silence That it will keep the peace, The peace I should be keeping Then I wondered within this silence When I remain silent, Whose peace is it keeping?
It's been days since I've thought of it Now this overthinking continued to eat It swallowed me bit by bit My candle was now gone, It was once lit
I kept on asking Whose peace is it keeping? If everyone will be leaving Is the peace even worth keeping?
I hope everyone gets the silence I adore After reading all those lore I hope everyone sleeps in peace The peace I get to miss
