Chapter Five: A New Love?

Kiyomi outgrown her clothes and the birth of her child is closing in soon.

Kiyomi woke up remembering a memory in the past. It was quite unpleasant. It took full affect of her weak and fragile body. She was struggling to breath as sweat drip down her forehead. Whenever she tried to stand up she'll fall back on the ground as if her body already gave up on her. Her body became hallow within just another day. Her voice went mute, and nobody could hear her.

Kiyomi and Naraku stayed in a village together that accepted half-breeds and demons with humans.

It was the day that Kiyomi found out about her new bundle of joy inside of her.

" Kiyomi child, your pregnant." The elder women said after hearing the symptoms she have been having lately.

Kiyomi face turned red like a tomato as blush smear across her face, and tears slowly form in her eyes. It was the day Naraku-kun return home and she was excited to tell him the joyful news. Overworking made her tired fairly easily and sometimes it make it hard for her to stand. She prepared a herbal meal for when her love come back home. She stirred the soup in a pot with an wooden spoon.

" Kiyomi dear, I'm home."

Her heart fluttered by hearing the sound of her fiancée voice. As always she'll wait for him to come back home. She ran to the front door and greeted her soon to be husband." Welcome back, Nara-kun." She smile at him as she lifted up her head after bowing. Her cheeks started to change into a rosy red." The other day while you was away, I found out that I'm pregn-- I mean that we'll be expecting a child." She said then collapse as he caught her.

He laid her down on the bed and checked her temperature. Finding out that his mate is running a fever. He grabbed a cold wet rag and placed it on her forehead as he held her hand tightly." K-Kiyomi, please be okay" He whispered afraid and prayed that her fever will go down.

She slowly opened her eyes and slowly sat up as she saw that her love fell asleep holding her hand." Naraku...."

He woke up instantly and turn his head as he looked up at her," Kiyomi honey, are you okay?" He asked sincerely. This was a soft and kind side of him that no one knew.

She nodded." I must've push myself a little too hard. Recently, I often get tired from the simplest task. I was so excited to see you and I thought even for a moment, even if I push myself a little too hard. It's at least for a good cause, but I don't even remember if I told you the news or not. Maybe it's not really news if I keep worrying you."

Naraku put both of his hands on her shoulders and pulled her into a tight embrace." Kiyomi your the best thing that happen to me. Since you came in my life I feel like I'm more human than demon instead of feeling isolated, and alone like most half-demons." He said then slowly pulled away and looked at his mate in her beautiful blue eyes," Kiyomi, you can't push yourself so hard. I don't want anything bad to happen to you or our child."

Tears came down her face and she nodded," Okay, Nara-kun. I will rest up and recover " She said as she laid down and turned around still tired.

" We'll recover together so I'm sleeping with you tonight." He chuckled and climbed in the bed as he press his body against hers then wrapped his arm around her.

" Naraku." Kiyomi called his name then turned around.

" What is it?" He asked and looked at her.

" What do you have to recover from? Are you sick? too."She asked in her regular soft voice.

" No, I'm not sick but I need to recover from staying away from you. I need you, and I promise I will always stay with you. Even now... I don't even care if I get sick." He said as he lifted her head up and kissed her softly on the lips. She snuggled closely into his chest and he stroke her head softly as both of them started to fall asleep.

Kiyomi fever was rising by the second and it was ten time worst. Her body was burning up and pain traveled everywhere.

InuYasha sigh and put a wet rag on Kiyomi," Why the hell do I have to do something like this?" He complained.

Earlier..... Something fishy happened to the Bone Eater Well near the Forest of InuYasha. Kagome felt a huge amount of spiritual powers, and Sango saw running in that direction. They decided to inspect it and came up with a solution since they still need someone to look after Kiyomi....For InuYasha to look after her since Miroku had left the village to show his son how to be a monk at a young age.

Kiyomi struggled and started talk in her sleep." Lay next to me."

" What! Kiyomi" InuYasha stood up and yelled with blush smeared across his face. He notice that she was still sleeping. He sat back down and looked at her. He leaned closer towards her face." She don't look that much like Kikyo." He was about to kiss her until he heard her called out Naraku name. He yelled her name then turned around hoping she didn't wake up. What's wrong with me?" He looked at his hands as he felt pain in his heart.

" I-Inu-- Yasha." Kiyomi sat up and looked at him as she rubbed her eyes. He turned around as they made direct eye contact. She climbed out of the bed then her body gave out of her as she fell, but InuYasha caught her by her shoulders.

" I gotcha!" He said.

" Thank you, InuYasha." She said, but this time she felt different when she looked InuYasha in his eyes. It was this tension and sensation. Her heart was beating so fast she couldn't even keep up with it. She was caught up in the moment and InuYasha was more at fault as they lips touched then both of them looked at each other eyes as they broke away the kiss.

" Kiyomi awake yet?" Shippo said in a groggy tone as he woke up from sleeping on the hard wooden floor.

She pushed InuYasha away as his head hit the wall.

" What the hell did I do?" He argued.

" I'm going for a stroll." Kiyomi said and rushed out of the hut. As she continue walking she saw Kagome..... who was laughing with the villagers.

Drop baby names for Kiyomi's unborn child. Should she have a boy or girl? I haven't decided yet and I can't think of any good names. Help me out! Please
