At 7 AM, Pen and I left the warehouse without leaving any evidence behind. While we were driving, Pen expressed his doubts about the legitimacy of the organization.

"I'm confident it's legitimate," I firmly stated. "The way he talks doesn't imply that he's an undercover cop."

Pen still seemed unsure, but I reassured him that we couldn't back out now. "We've come too far, and we'll take every necessary precaution to ensure our safety and the organization's success."

Pen seemed to calm down after my assurance, and we proceeded with our plan.

After a few minutes of driving, we arrived at the given location.

"Is this the place?" Pen asked.

"Yes, this is the place he gave us," I replied with certainty.

Suddenly, someone arrived and greeted us warmly.

"Welcome to Orphany, Gentlemen. Please follow me."

We quickly got ourselves ready and followed the staff of the building.

"This place doesn't look like an organization," Pen commented.

I was speechless as we both had the same thought that the place was only a company hotel. We both went up to the 330th floor.

"Please wait, sir," the staff requested.

After a few minutes, they let us into the office. I saw the name attached to the door. "Charlotte Evelyn, Director's Daughter." We were entering one of the highest person's offices in the company.

"Ah, you must be Aiden Lucas and Henry Benjamin. I heard that Jay took a good look at you both," the girl said.

"Welcome to Orphany, the most hidden criminal organization in the United States. My name is Charlotte Evelyn, and I am the Director's Daughter. You might have already talked to one of our greatest operatives, Luke Hudson."

The girl immediately offered us seats. The door suddenly opened, and a man twice our age came in. It was Luke Hudson, Orphany's most skilled operative. He had executed more than 100 missions and helped found Orphany.

"Hello, gentlemen. Sorry if I was late. I'm the person who offered you to Charlotte. Let's get started, shall we?" he said in a confident tone. After that, he grabbed his seat, and we started to talk. I remember Pen looking at me so nervously.

"We have both of your files, and I believe that the first time you did a job was yesterday, July 16, 2006... Now on Orphany's behalf, we are grateful to offer you two great positions in our organization. With a condition."

I was shocked that they had Pen and mine's files, records, and background, We were both nervous.

"We'll do every job you give us. Is that right?" Pen asked nervously.

Luke replied, "Exactly. I told you already yesterday."

Charlotte followed up, "Correct, now I am asking if you two are one hundred percent sure about joining Orphany?"

"Yes, we do," I replied confidently.

"Okay, that's it. You're hired." She said with a big smile.

After hearing what she said, and Pen were both excited about what we had heard. Charlotte completely followed up,

"You will be starting your operative training tomorrow at the same time you came today. I suggest not being late as Luke here is too "busy" with some work he has to do tomorrow morning."

"We'll inform the Director about this."

Me and Pen looked at each other. We both have the same excitement and joy we're feeling.

"Okay, that's all, gentlemen. I'll see you next meeting."

After exiting the office, Luke escorted us to the main elevator.

"Congratulations, I hope this will be the start of your great journey and opportunities with us. Once again, Welcome to Orphany, gentlemen."

We both thanked him and the elevator closed.

[muffled footsteps thudding]

[knocking]

"Come in."

[door opens/closes]

"So? We just hired two newbies today. I'm sure they will do just fine."

"I'm confident about that, the other guy is extremely nervous, I saw him shivering. The other guy though... is very different from tough people I saw. He knows how to keep calm."

"I guess they have different skills from this. I suggest offering 'em a class they deserve."

"What a great idea, Luke..."

"Call them later. Let 'em rest, for now, I'm sure they're both excited about what they got today."

"Alright, I'll see you, Luke."

[door opens/closes]

[driving sound]

"Told you it was real."

"Fine, sorry for doubting you."

"It's fine. I also doubted you years ago when we were still at the orphanage you know? Doubting on how you use gadgets and computers."

"I remember, but we can use our skills working as a freelancer for Orphany," Pen replied.

I chuckled and let him drive to the apartment where we were staying. When we got home, Luke called us.

"Charlotte and I planned for you two to pick your classes. We noticed that both of you have different skills. Well, you will be separated. But once training is done, both of you will be working together with our other special operatives as well." Luke said.

"What are the choices?" I asked.

"We have special classes and of course training, We have Mercenary, Engineer, Thief, and one of the most important, a Hacker."

I saw Pen with a big smile on his face.

"I'll take Hacker Class, Mr. Hudson." Pen happily replied.

I took the thief class.

"Alright, well done. See you all tomorrow."

[phone hangs up]

After a few months of training under Orphany, we were informed that it was time to do high-profile missions. On August 6, 2006, I and Pen were dropped at a real mission.
