Part 5: The Dropoff

The interrogation wasn't as I expected it to be. Bug gave information about a location in Russia: A bank. It's located in Moscow. The bank's name is Bank Horizon. After the information had reached the Director of Orphany, he sent an entire team of agents, operatives, and crews that knew how to rob banks cleanly. According to Bug, we can't get the package we need in the bank without having a shootout with the cops. We were led by none other than Charlotte. We need to do the job loud and if possible no civilians or hostages need to get hurt or shot. Bug also said that he's not sure what the package carries. The crew will lead me and the team I'm in inside the bank and execute the job very carefully. Pen will be guiding us through our body cams and radios. Phil, the head of the crew will lead me and Luke. Luke decided to join us in case the job goes south.

We went to a warehouse outside of the city and planned our moves carefully. The Russian Government doesn't know where it is so it should buy us a few days before we fly back to the United States.

On November 29, 2006, we decided to pull the job.

[truck engine sound]

Phil reminded us, "Remember, no one gets hurt alright? We need to do this quickly and kindly. If the cops shoot us, don't hesitate to fight back, alright?"

[guns cocking]

"Pen, hear us?"

"Hear 'ya, Phil. Got your backs."

"Good."

[radio static]

I was very nervous at that time as it was my second time infiltrating a bank after my first-ever heist with Pen. After a few minutes, the truck pulled off on the street and we exited the vehicle. After we got off, the truck immediately drove a bit farther. We were wearing black suits and opaque helmets. We broke into the bank and started the "package collecting."

"On the floor! This is a robbery!"

"Remember, Ace. Don't talk about the package, the civilians will know what our true target is. The vault is in the bank basement. Take the crew and shoot any guards on sight. Me and Luke will lead here, you got Pen, alright?"

I nervously replied, "Okay."

"ON THE FLOOR!"

[shotgun shot sound]

[crowd and employee shouting nervously]

After that, I led the crew down to the basement.

"Shoot him!"

[gun shots]

I immediately yelled, "Take cover!"

After they fired, we took the chance and shot the guards.

[bullet impacts sound]

[guards yelling]

"Go, Ace! I'll cover you from here!" The other operative said to me.

I went to the vault with the crew.

"Ready the diamond drill, make it fast."

[bag zipping]

[tool clanking]

[drilling sound]

The operative replied anxiously to me, "We'll have three minutes, buy us some time."

[cop car siren sounds]

[cop speaking Russian]

"Throw your weapons and come out with your hands in the air! Don't make us put a bullet in your heads!"

"Shoot, Phil, they're here."

"Alright, let 'em shoot at us first. That way, they'll know that we don't want to fight."
