14 \ part time job!

It is the end of the exam season for the boys and they were really thankful that it was finally over. They're now waiting for their results to be released. Sitting side by side one another really provided much comfort for both of them. 

"Do you think I can get a decent score?" Gyuvin asked, obviously really nervous. "After you studied Physics during Chemistry exam day? No." Ricky joked, which got Gyuvin more nervous. Ricky got his results first. As he walked back to where he and Gyuvin were seated, his face was expressionless. 

"Why babe? Is it bad?" 

"Kim Gyuvin." The teacher then called for Gyuvin. Gyuvin had no choice but to leave Ricky to collect his results. When walking up the teachers' desk, he was more worried about Ricky. Why was Ricky expressionless? Was it that bad? It's not up to his standard? Ricky studied so hard throughout the year though. It would be unfair if he didn't get a score he wanted. 

"Congrats Gyuvin, you got quite a lot of distinctions." The teacher says, snapping Gyuvin out of his thoughts. "What?" Gyuvin couldn't believe his ears. "Yes Gyuvin. Great job, Gyuvin!" 

Gyuvin was left shook. What do you mean he got distinctions? He's surprised he did that well despite studying for the wrong subject during one of the examinations. "Chemistry was understandable. But the rest, you did well." 

Gyuvin thanked his teachers and walked back to his seat with Ricky. He looked shock as compared to Ricky, who seemed to be kind of disappointed? "Babe, I did it." Gyuvin starts, looking at Ricky who was deep in his thoughts. 

"Are you alright? How did you do?" 

"Disappointing." 

Gyuvin wanted Ricky to share with him how he did but he only blurted out one word? Now what was he supposed to do to cheer his boyfriend up? "Can I see yours?" Gyuvin asked, passing Ricky his slip. Ricky nodded and did the same. 

To Gyuvin's surprise, Ricky got all distinctions, except for... He just didn't ace his Chemistry. The rest were A's... which was really impressive. "What the...my boyfriend is so smart. It's okay, Chemistry sucks." Gyuvin shrugs. 

"I knew it. I already can sense that my Chemistry was falling behind." Ricky sighs. Gyuvin patted his back to cheer him up. Thankfully, both of them did well so they were able to get into the dream school of their choices.

Since there's a break before college starts, they decide to take on part-time jobs to kill time and earn some allowance to use. They both interviewed for a bubble tea shop and of course, both of them got the job. 

"Hi, welcome to ZB1 Bubble Tea, what can I get for you?" 

"Your number?" 

"Um," Gyuvin turned around to look at his boyfriend who was busy making drinks that their customers had ordered. Then, he turned back and decided to answer the girl nervously. "Um.. I'm gay. Sorry." Gyuvin still gave her a smile, to which she also returned. 

"Oh, I'm sorry I didn't know." She laughs nervously, obviously embarrassed that she got rejected by Kim Gyuvin. "Then, I'll get a Green Milk Tea with Pearl, 25% sugar level please. Thanks." The girl says and hurriedly took out her card to pay. 

"Of course." 

Gyuvin walks to his boyfriend, Ricky, who was busy packing up the drinks the previous customer had ordered. "New order!" Gyuvin voiced out, placing the receipt onto the table, next to the drinks making station. 

"Okay. This is ready." Ricky passed the bag to Gyuvin. 

"You know, someone asked me for my number just now?" Gyuvin says, taking over the bag. "Yeah? And?" Ricky responds as he walked over to the drinks making station and started making the Green Milk Tea with Pearl.
