"Derek- Stop-" Meredith whimpered in pain as he helped her getting dressed

"Mer, I really think it's better if you stay here for the day." Derek told her softly

"No. I already had to return here early yesterday." Meredith said as it was their last day at Disney

"Hmm.. I don't like the thought." Derek admitted, very worried about his wife's discomfort

"I know but I promised the girls, I'll come along even if it's just a few hours." She insisted

"Can I at least push you around a bit?" Derek asked her carefully

"Maybe that's for the best." She weakly nodded

Derek immediately knew she was in more pain than she would admit but he wasn't gonna put her under pressure, he knew his wife tend to shut down whenever that happened

He helped her into her wheelchair after he finished dressing her. They got out and met with their family, everyone was ready as they'd have breakfast at the park.

Christopher was paying a close eye on Meredith's facial expressions. He knew she was in pain, she hadn't even once tried to push herself

Once they arrived at the hospital they got themselves installed and started looking at the menu when two kids bumped into Meredith's wheelchair

"Aww.." She winced in pain

"Sowwy!" They said and ran off

"Are you okay?" Derek quickly turned at her, all the others staring at her as she had her eyes closed, tears slowly escaping them anyway

"I- I don't know." She admitted weakly

"Take your meds." Derek said and reached for her bag and took them out, handing them over to her

She quickly swallowed them, not even bothering to swallow water

"Honey, are you okay?" Carolyn asked quietly as all the kids except for Emma and Charlotte had ran off

"Yeah." Meredith faked a smile, it was very noticeable to everyone

"Mommy?" Emma walked up to her mom

"It's okay, just go play. Love you." Meredith said softly, brushing her shaky fingers through Emma's hair

Emma hesitantly ran off to go play while Mark was keeping Charlotte entertained

"Do you wanna go play a bit as well? I bet it will be so much fun." Mark tried to convince his niece who was sitting on his lap dressed in her princess dress

"Maybe.. Can Mommy come?" She asked

"What about I'll come with you?" Mark kept trying

"Hmm.. Kay." Charlotte gave in

"Do I need to take you back?" Derek meanwhile asked his wife quietly, the other adults tried to start a conversation but couldn't resist to still hear what they'd say, they were all extremely worried about Meredith

"No. I'm fine. Meds will kick in." She answered shortly, not baring the thought to talk too much and too long

"If you say so.." Derek sighed wanting to hold her tight in his arms to cuddle her close to his chest, he just wanted to take all the pain away, he had seen her suffering so much since they were together, not even to mention all the pain, losses and neglection she had endured as a kid.

"Here, grab some tea." Carolyn passed them the teapot

"Hmm." Meredith didn't even move to serve herself so Derek did while he saw his wife cramping up, he placed his hand softly on her arm, not wanting to touch her back right now

Derek and his mom shared a very worried expression.

Eventually Meredith barely had any breakfast, to be honest it just hurts way too much to properly lift her arms up. Right now Derek was slowly pushing her around the park. All the adults were chatting away while the kids were running in front of them

"Daddy! Can we get into this attraction?!" Emma gasped while Tommy begged Mark to go as well

"Sure guys! Grace, are you coming as well?" Derek asked his daughter

"Yes!" She giggled and hurried after her father

"They seem so excited." Carolyn smiled as everyone except for her, Christopher and Meredith went on the ride

But Meredith was staring ahead of her. She was doubting to tell anyone about the current pain she was in, she couldn't endure this much longer but she knew she'd ruin the others' day so she decided not to tell them

After a few more rides Meredith was about to scream it out when Charlotte tugged at her pants, wanting to ride in her mom's lap because she was getting tired

"Sweetie, come here, I'll carry you." Derek offered but his daughter refused and just made herself fall in front of Meredith's wheelchair so Derek had to stop, which caused Meredith to almost fall out and start crying in pain

"Shit-" Mark gasped, kneeling down in front of her, Charlotte quickly hurrying off

"Mer? Please honey-" Derek begged as he had never seen her like this

"Fine-" She muttered and pushed herself up on her arms but it was hurting so bad, she even felt lightheaded

"I'm taking her to a doctor." Derek said very sternly

"But.." Grace muttered. "We're at Disney.."

"Gracie's right." Meredith insisted

"Well I think we should head over to that playground." Christopher said quickly so the kids could play but they could check Meredith out

Derek carefully pushed her over to the playground while she composed herself as good as she could, really struggling to breathe through the pain and discomfort

"Der- I- I wanna go home-" She whimpered quietly when the kids ran off to play. "I can't-" She struggled to talk

"I think you should see a doctor." Derek said, really worried, all his medical knowledge had dissapeared instantly

AN: They finally seemed to have found what is causing most of the pain in my leg next to the arthrethis. They'll perform surgery in may and hopefully after two months pain will slowly get better!! I didn't expect myself to update this much because i just started a fulltime job but yeahhh haha
