Snow.

"What do you think the results will be?" Cayla asked and I shrugged. "I don't know. Whatever it is, I don't really care. The top Five can have their spot for all I care." I said and she snickered.

"I dunno. Lyra's a mean bitch. I can't believe she did that to you yesterday. I hate her so much."

The feeling is mutual.

"What's her problem with me? It's not like I stole her puppy or something." I said as we stopped by the lockers. I replaced the books and grabbed my bag with clothes in it for Dance.

Cayla also happened to be majoring in Dance. It's her dream to be a choreographer.

"Who knows. You probably did something way worse. She might have a stupid reason for hating you. Also you look way better than she is. That's also a pointer." She teased and I smiled.

We got to the studio and I was introduced to the whole class. I watched as Damien walked up to us. Great. He's here too.

"Hi. I'm Damien. I don't think we've had the chance to speak before." He said stretching out a hand. I took it with a polite smile.

"I'm Snow."

He smiled back. "I didn't know you dance. Hey there Cayla." He said with a wave at my friend. She blinked in shock before waving back. He turned and walked away to warm up for the class.

"Damien Williams knows my name? That's one hell of a surprise. Why the heck are they all talking to me now?" She asked and I laughed.

"You forget you used to be friends with Aries right?" She shrugged. The dance instructor walked in and clapped his hands.

"Hello students. Welcome to class. Get ready to sweat out your frustrations!" He hollered as everyone cheered. I love the vibe already.

"We also have a new student. And she's going to have to prove herself, am I right?!"

"YESS!!"

I blinked. What the fuck did that mean? Cayla smirked as she took my stuff from me. I'd already changed into a black baggy joggers, a black crop top with a crocheted shrug and white air forces.

"Who's going to help her out?!" Mr Rein asked. We even had similar names. That should've cut me some slacks. Darn him.

"I can." Damien stepped forward and I scoffed. Yeah. Dude probably just wanted to feel me up. His reputation is well known.

"Cayla. Come on girl." I said and her eyes went wide. "No. Nope. I'm not dancing with you. You've gotta do this with him. Sorry girl." She said and nudged me forward. I sighed and stepped forward and stopped a few inches away from Damien.

"Do I have your permission to touch you?" He leaned down to whisper. I shrugged. "Yeah sure but one wrong move and I'll send you to the infirmary." I said and he laughed throwing his head back. Well damn. Man's very attractive, ain't he?

"Okay. You're dancing to Jackson Wang's Cruel. Alright. Whenever you're ready." Mr Rein said and waited for our cue.

Wonderful choice Mr Rein. Wonderful.

"You know what? Follow my lead." I said to Damien and the music started. Everyone watched intensely as we danced.

At the section of the song where the instruments were played behind his vocals, Damien and I just circled each other. He could predict my next move and quickly adjusted with it. I stopped in front of him and swayed side to side and then dropped into a split. He picked me up and spun for a few seconds before dropping me.

We did a short freestyle and we ended with my arms around his neck and his on my waist.

Everyone was clapping and cheering loudly. I pulled away and blushed as I tucked my hair behind my ears.

"Snow! That was absolutely amazing! Was that rehearsed?! I can't believe you both just came up with that on the spot. I believe you've found your dance partner for the year." Mr Rein said with a shit eating grin. I smiled in thanks and turned to Damien.

"That was beautiful." He said and I smiled at him. I gotta give the credit. He's a really good dancer.

I made my way back to Cayla who was still screaming and squealing in shock. "Snow!!! That was...I can't even find the words for it. I captured it all on video. Everyone practically did. You two look so good dancing together." She said as we sat down. I downed half of my bottle water and chuckled.

"Thanks Cayla. I was nervous the whole time." I said and she scoffed. "You're like a pro. Damn. Your former school must be sad to lose you." She said and I laughed.

"Mr Rein said that Damien will be my dance partner. Who's yours?" I asked and she pointed over to a guy who was doing pushups in a corner. He had dusty blonde hair and an amazing physique. His workouts never go in vain I presume.

"That's Myron. I've known him my whole life. He's the reserved type but we're buddies. I'll introduce you later." She explained and I nodded.

"Alright. I should probably go talk to Damien. I'm stuck with him for the rest of this class anyways." I said standing up and Cayla laughed.

Damien smiled up at me as I approached him and I returned the gesture.

"Hey. So when can we get to practice for the display convention? Are we showcasing anything?" I asked and he nodded.

"Do you have any plans or any ideas? I'm welcomed to suggestions. You're an amazing dancer. So I bet you're an awesome choreographer as well." He teased and I smirked.

"We'll see. When is the showcase?"

"It's a month and few weeks away. What's your major?" He asked grabbing his bag from the floor. "Dance. You?" I asked following him out of the studio.

"Same. I guess we'll be seeing a lot of each other then." He said and I nodded.

"Damien!"

We both turned to see Aries and Cameron approaching. "What's she doing here?" Cameron asked in disdain and I scoffed.

"Mind your fucking business, will ya?" I snapped and he glared at me. I rolled my eyes and walked out.

Stupid fucking nerd.
