Daphne, being Daphne, got Luke to pack her bags for her.

"Why can't you do it yourself?" Luke had asked her when he finished packing.

Daphne sat on her bed with Valentina, who was painting the girls nails. Theodore was sat off to the side reading one of his books.

Ellis and Oliver were no where to be seen.

"You've been on a quest, you know what to pack." Daphne said to him, thanking him.

Luke nodded, a ruffled up her hair slightly before heading out the cabin. "I'll see you in a bit, don't get hurt before your quest."

"I won't." The girl assured him as he left.

When Luke was gone, Theo looked up. "I can't believe you're going on a quest, you barely know you're left from your right."

Daphne gasped. "I do too!"

"Stay still." Valentina swatted Daphnes arm. "I'm more surprised Luke's letting you go."

"It did cause a slight argument." Daphne admitted.

She didn't say much more and she was thankful neither of them pressed her on the situation.

Generally, her and Luke got on great. It had been their first proper argument; Daphne was still a little salty over it.

"It's not that serious." Daphne had defended herself.

The daughter of Hermes had just told Luke that Percy had offered her a place on his quest and that she had accepted it.

"It's dangerous, Daphne." Insisted Luke. "I've been on quests before, I know."

Daphne shrugged. "Well, I'm sorry but I've already told him I'd help. He needs all the help he can get."

Luke sighed, shaking his head. "Our father won't help you, I hope you know that."

"I never said I wanted his help." Daphne snapped, her voice suddenly very quiet.

She didn't know how to respond.

Luke didn't keep it in clandestine, he did not like their father and he made sure Daphne knew that. Since she came to camp and was claimed, he warned her.

"You're being so stupid right now, Daph and you're going to end up getting hurt because of it."

Then he walked out, leaving Daphne alone in the sword arena.

Realising that Valentina had finished her nails, Daphne shook her head and stood up. Then, she picked up her bag.

"I'm going to go meet them at the hill."

The pair of them stood up and pulled her in for a hug.

"Be safe." Valentina told her, putting her pinky out.

Daphne nodded, pinky promising the daughter of Aphrodite." Of course."

Then, Theo pulled away as he fished something out of his pocket. It was a silver bracelet. He handed it to her with a smile.

Daphne took it from him and inspected it, then with a playful smirk she said. "Awh, are you asking me out Collins?"

The bracelet had two silver charms on it: a sword and a shield. They matched perfectly with the bracelet.

Theodore laughed. "You wish, Evans. But no, im not, it was meant to be a Christmas present from me and Beckendorf but we thought you might need it for your quest."
