V| and so the quest begins

That night, Daphne was sat in Cabin Six (after sneaking in once everybody was asleep) with Theo.

Theo's halfsiblings were all asleep, tossing and turning soundly in their beds. They had to be quiet. But the two lovers didn't seem to mind.

Daphne was glad Theo had a bottom bunk, it meant creating less noise when she entered and would inevitably leave.

The two lovers were cuddled close. Theo had an arm around his sweet Daphne. His heart was racing from the excitement of sneaking her in. He also loved these moments.

These moments just alone with each other. There was something so perfect about them. He loved having Daphne in his arms, and feeling her warm embrace. He kissed her forehead as he cuddled her close.

Daphne was set to go on a quest the following morning and so she was glad at have this time with him.

Though, each time she lay in his arms the guilt of joining Luke slowly crept into the atmosphere.

Of course, Theo didn't know that.

The son of Athena held her close and was blissfully unaware of her true intentions. He just laid there with her, enjoying the moment.

"Stay safe on your quest. " He whispered softly in her ear as his thumb slowly stroked her arm.

Daphne looked up at him, giving him a small smile. "We'll be fine. And I'll make sure Annabeth is alright too."

In the past, the two half-siblings had a rocky relationship but overtime they mended that.

"And Percy, Ellis, Tina and Tyson and Grover. I'll protect all of them."

"Of course. But also look after yourself. I don't want you getting hurt." Theo said. There was this worried look in his eyes. The last thing he wanted was for Daphne to get hurt.

Daphne held his face with her hands, kissing his nose. "I won't."

He blushed slightly when she kissed his nose. That had to be one of the cutest things anyone had ever done to him.

"Promise?" He asked as he gently squeezed her a little tighter.

Daphne held out her pinky finger, not caring how childish it seemed. Her mother had believed in them, and so Daphne did as well.

"Pinky promise."

Theo couldn't help but chuckle slightly at the sight. It was a little silly, however he also found it endearing.

"Pinky promise." He said back softly. With that he gently laced his pinky with hers.

"Please tell me you didn't sneak your girlfriend in here in the middle of the night." Whispered a voice, Annabeth, from the top bunk.

Daphne tried to refrain from laughing as she watched Annabeth dangle from her top bunk, to see the pair.

She had forgotten Annabeth and Theo shared a bunk bed.

Theo froze slightly. He could feel Annabeth's gaze on him and Daphne, and of course he was now feeling slightly embarrassed. Who wouldn't after getting caught sneaking their significant other into their cabin.
