"You found the labyrinth?"

Daphne hadn't even stepped foot in Cabin Eleven and yet she was already being swarmed by Campers .

Some who were new and some she had known for years now. Each of their eyes were fixed on Daphne, which only made her guilt increase.

Though, she kept reminding herself that she was doing it for them and Luke had promised her none of them would get hurt.

Daphne shrugged, looking at Travis. "Look, I'm tried. Can we talk about this in the morning?"

The girl didn't wait for a response as she picked up some of her clothes that were already laid on her bed and got changed in the bathroom before heading to sleep.

Daphne hated how cruel dreams could be. At first they'd be showing you something remarkable - something you loved.

For instance, a favourite childhood memory like this dream had done.

Daphne had just turned five years old, she was sat in her garden playing with Daisy.

Daisy was the cutest Australian shepherd puppy Daphne had ever seen.

She was a birthday present, from her mother.

Lexie Evans was sat on the steps off the porch, watching as a young Daphne played with her new puppy.

Lexie had made sure the garden was puppy-proof and completely protected, to ensure her little girl was safe.

Daphne's laughter made her mother smile, no matter how many times she had heard it before.
Grinning at her, Daphne waved from the garden before returning her attention on Little Daisy.

The love and admiration for the puppy was clear in her eyes. With her attention back on Daisy, a mischievous look sparkled in her eyes.

Daisy was young, so had lots of energy. Her personality paralleled Daphne's.

The girl in question ran around like mad with Daisy, giggling like a fool. Lexie chuckled as she watched her little girl have so much fun.

Then suddenly, her dream changed and morphed into something different entirely. Daphne stood on Camp HalfBloods hill, a battle raging ferociously around her.

Even in a dream, Daphne's heart stopped as her eyes gauged at the scene.

The hill was filled with monsters and demigods alike as they fought with one another.

For a split moment, Daphne could see Ellis leant over a persons bloody body.

His cries echoeing the Camp.

Despite not being able to see the body, Daphne knew it was somebody close to her friend.

The orange camp T-shirt gave that part away.

She went to take a step forward but was stopped as she was encased into the shadows.

A voice rang in her ears: "You did this to them."

A sinister voice, one she had never heard nor would forget.

She looked around again as the voice continued to speak, the shadows surrounding her.

"Your fault..." the voice whispered.

Waking up in sweat, clothes sticking to your body, was not Daphne's ideal way to wake up in the morning.
