Previously...:

The plan was perfect, and soon, we were ready, and marched out the Athena Cabin, ready to win.

We took our positions, and then, it happened.

I fell to my knees in shock, looking at- at it, on the ground, motionless. Waves of sadness came over me, but I didn't feel anything.

I would never be able to feel, knowing that she had gone.

My love.

Percy2 P.O.V:

Annabeth was shaking me, but I wouldn't respond.

Our flag was red.

Red.

And- and that- that monster had taken my one true love, my one purpose in life: Blue.

I stared at her, strutting around with the godly coloured flag in her hand, laughing at me.

I suddenly switched to game mode, and held riptide as pen form, almost breaking it. Everyone else was in formation.

I would do it for her, for Blue. I would get her back, at any costs necessary.

'Let's play.' I said, and the horn rang throughout the playing grounds, and I charged, shouting at the other team.

My eyes were tinted red with rage as I ran at the opposing side, tackling people down and parrying swords, dodging stabs, and I threw people left right and centre to get to my goal.

With Annabeth by my side, we were undefeatable, slashing and disarming everyone who came near us, facing inexperienced swordsmen, moving at a monstrous pace, until we faced Travis and Connor.

They were just standing there, leaning in their swords, looking at us, and then, they crossed the line. Connor smirked at me, and he pointed to the blue plume on his head.

And I went into a rage.

I ran at them, and started duelling both at once, with a vicious amount of power. They were caught by surprise, and fought quite well, but nothing was going to stop me from getting Blue back. Soon I had them cornered, and the edge of my sword was on both their necks, their backs against a tree. They dropped their swords, and I took them, and chucked them into the lake, I would retrieve them later.

Annabeth was staring at me, shocked. 'Percy, it's just a game-'

'Just a game. No, Annabeth, it isn't just a game. It's war.'

And with that, I ran forwards, continuing my rampage, until I could see it.

It was about 100m in front of me, in a clearinginside the woods. I ran towards it, I was so close, I was in touching distance of the flag, but then, someone jumped out the tree.

Leo.

Behind him, I spotted mini Leotrying to protect the flag.

Leo looked at me, and said with a sigh:
'Well, well, well, my friend. Such a shame it had to come to this. I'm assuming now you'll try to fight me, huh? Well, go ahead, try me.'

I looked at him, confused, but all I could think of right now was the flag. I looked around for Annabeth, but she wasn't there. I suddenly felt a tap on my shoulder: Annabeth. She was wearing her cap, so I couldn't see her, but i looked behind Leo, at the flag, and charged.

I called on the power of water to help me, but it didn't come. What I didn't noice was that the flag was as far away from the lake as possible, so I couldn't use my water powers. I could try and take some from the ground, but I saw a footprint appear out of nowhere just behind Leo.

Annabeth.

All I could do now was distract Leo, whilst Annabeth took out MiniLeo, and got the flag.

'Leo, man, don't do this. You know how much it means to me, so please don't do it, don't fight me, come to our side, the better side. Help me save Blue, let me save her from them, those monsters.'

'I'm afraid that I can't do that, Percy. It's too late.'

I noticed he was fiddling with something, but didn't realise what it was until he chucked it at me.

A fire bomb.

Just before he threw it at me, I saw Annabeth, laying down an unconscious MiniLeo down onto the floor.

The thing erupted into flames, but I only felt heat surrounding me, it was way too hot in here, like a broken sauna. I wasn't burnt due o the whole Poseidon DNA, but I knew Leo knew that too. My arms were aching from staying still too long, and I couldn't move my legs due to the pain. I growled at him, annoyed. I still had riptide, who was getting a little hot in my hands.

'I'm sorry Percy, but it had to be done- huh? Where's the flag!'

I grinned, and told him. 'It's too late my friend. The daughter of Athena has stolen your flag.' And with that burst of energy, I ran out the fire, and to the lake, until I was close enough, and raised a massive wave, grinning at Leo as I chucked it onto him. 'You should have joined me when you had the chance.' I said, and controlled the water into a massive sphere, with Leo in the centre, with an air bubble round his face, and chucked the whole thing into the lake.

I sprinted back to base, where I could see a massive fight going on, and I joined in, slashing and whacking helmets where I could, all whilst running forwards, until I caught a lemony scent next to me.

I grinned, knowing that Annabeth was next to me

She shoved the flag into my hands, and I ran like Blackjack, all the way to the line that separated us all, and jumped over it, shouting and whooping 'I GOT THE FLAG!' Everyone cheered and screamed, and they all ran forward, and carried me up, all of us cheering. After I was let down, I heard Annabeth's voice in my ear. 'You did good today, Seaweed Brain.'
I felt a pair of lips kiss my cheek, and then she was gone, off to celebrate with the others.

I smiled, looking at the blue flag in my hands.

I did it.

And that was all I could think of when I felt a dagger pierce into my back, and a voice in my ear, whispering to me.

'She's mine, Jackson.'

And I blacked out.
