Chapter 5

More memories swirled around, moments they had shared together. (My own bit added)
Rian and Deet both laughing and having fun, Rian watched Deet gracefully flapping around the Stonewood whilst he walked along the path around Stone In The Wood. Taking Deet away to have some alone time and away from the others. "Deet Wait!... I Don't Have Wings!" Rian called out, watching Deet flutter, she couldn't help but giggle. Catching Rian's eyes, a gleam sparkled, his smile turned into a smirk suddenly reaching out with one hand. "Rian!" Deet was suddenly yanked down to wrap his arms around her waist. Forcing Deet from flying as her wings tried to break from Rian's hold. Deet's wings finally stopped fluttering and folded back falling deeper into his embrace. "I just want to hold you." Rian whispered, causing the tips of her ears and cheeks to turn pink and looking into his blue eyes...

Suddenly purple lightning bolts struck through their Dreamfasting, a female scream rang through Rian's ears. Rian breathed deeply as Deet laid on the floor inside the castle. Deet's breathes were raspy, her eyes bright purple, filled by the Darkening, bright purple pink veins covered her face. Rian's heart shattered, feeling his skin go cold. "DEET!" Rian cried out to her but she didn't respond. The Darkening took control of her, now corrupted by the Darkening. "DEET! DON'T GIVE IN!" Rian's cried to her with tears running down his cheeks but Deet didn't respond. "DEEEEET!" Rian's scream rang through them causing the pair to pull their hands away, ending their Dreamfast with a flash of lightening.
The two Gelfling panted as they stared at each other. "D, Deet?" Rian spoke, his eyes were wide and holding back tears. Deet on the other hand was rattled and Rian could see her eyes filling with tears. "Deet look at me!"

Deet's thoughts were clouded with sadness and the memories of the darkening flooding back. "Deet!" Rian touched her arm, pulling Deet back to reality. Rian's heart broke, her eyes filled with fear again. "Deetra."... Rian whispered as he slowly cupped her cheek, showing a smile whilst wiping her tear away with his thumb. Staring into her large orbs, Rian gently brushed Deet's messy blonde hair keeping his eyes connected to hers....
Rian 's heart was racing, feeling like his breathe got knocked out of him. "I'm here, Deet." Rian whispered as their foreheads touched in a moment of bliss. Leaning onto each other, through love and pain, they needed each other.
Rian was pulled back to reality as his right hand clenched on the inside of his wool cloak that was still wrapped around his full naked body. Rian bushed, this was so unlike him to not be decent. "Deet, why didn't you tell me about the vision you had?" Rian asked, feeling confused and hurt over why she hadn't mentioned her vision. Deet stared for a moment before letting out a sad sigh... "I couldn't." Deet whispered but loud for him to hear but sadness filled his heart... "I'm sorry, Rian." Deet spoke, looking down only to have her face being lifted slowly. Looking into her eyes, Rian saw a blush on her cheeks...

"Rian." Deet softly said his name, feeling Rian slowly pulling her face closer until he pressed his forehead against hers. "Shhh." Rian whispered but Deet couldn't take her eyes off him. Deet blushed as Rian's lips pressed against hers in a sudden kiss. The two Gelfling tilted their heads as the kiss deepened, feeling the urge to pull her in. Deet slowly broke away with a soft gasp Rian felt a fire inside his stomach. "Oh Thra! I want her SO bad." Rian thought to himself as he felt both of Deet's fingers buried in his hair. Rian and Deet smiled, touching their foreheads together, lost in the moment...

Rian ran his left hand down her back slowly gliding over her wings causing them to shiver under his delicate touch. Deet looked at the Stonewood, seeing a blush creep across his face, her eyes twinkled. "For the love of Thra, Deet." Rian whispered, her smile made his heart flutter.
Deet looked down between them only to tilt her head in confusion. "Are you cold, Rian?" Deet asked causing Rian's heart to race, he couldn't let her see him like this.
Getting off the bed, Deet watched then shuffled closer to the edge. Deet saw his tanned legs, his bare feet with the tint of green on the top on each foot. "Wait!" Looking back at her, a worried look but his blush gave it away. Still holding onto his hand. "What's got you so flustered?" Deet asked with a soft smile, but he was reluctant to say. "I needed a drink after waking up but instead of changing, I just threw my cloak on, I, wasn't expecting..." Rian stopped talking, lost in thought but Deet smiled at his response, Rian clearly felt embarrassed.

Gently holding his hand, Deet pulled Rian back over to the bed... Rian stared, seeing Deet a blush spread across her cheeks.
Sitting back onto the bed, Rian crossed his legs. "Rian... You don't have to change just because I'm here." Deet said..."Holy Thra!" Rian couldn't believe what he heard, tilting his head to her. "Deet I." Rian paused, reaching up to move a piece of her hair. "Deet... I was wondering, if your ready to ..." Rian tried to ask, his face red and his heart raced. Deet blushed deeper, she wasn't expecting this.
Deet took a moment to think. Engaging in such act was natural, she wasn't expecting Rian to ask. Now committed to each other in a relationship, Deet couldn't blame the Stonewood for asking... Deet has never had sex before, she didn't know if she was ready.
"Rian I... I'd love to... But, I'm not ready." Deet manage to respond suddenly Rian froze. "I, I'm sorry Deet I, shouldn't have asked." Rian rushed his words in a panic. How could he be so careless, Rian lowered his head in shame. "Rian... You didn't do anything wrong." Lifting his face up, Deet pressed a kiss onto his forehead. "Soon, Rian... But not yet." She whispered, Rian blushed. "Whenever your ready, Deet." Rian bowed his head in respect Deet leaned in to his ear. "That doesn't mean we can't mess around. My Brave Rian."

Deet whispered into his ear, Rian blushed feeling his skin shiver and his heart raced. Was this a dream? Rian thought to himself... His fingers running down the girl's arm, until their hands clasped. Rian felt hot, just inches from her face. "I want you more than anything, my Gentle Deet." Rian breathed was almost a moan... "Rian." Deet whispered his name. Their lips softly touched but that softness was quickly pushed aside by the two Gelfling...
