Not writing off the possible fact that she could be switching fantasies, however he knew that was less likely than the fact that she just wanted to get Murphy alone.
Something deep within Wells telling him that it was most likely for nothing good and if Murphy survived his alone time with her, even more drastic events become possible.
"Verena, are you sure-?" Wells attempted to reverify with a squint of his eyebrows, checking for any signs of homocidal tendencies but he was only interrupted.
"Yeah," Verna quickly spoke up taking her eyes off of Wells, instead turning toward Murphy with large excited eyes. "I'd love to get to know him."
As she finished speaking the teen amusing bit down on her bottom lip as if she was jeering with excitement, especially as she took a large step closer to him.
Although not totally in a threatening way, the realization of which confusing Wells a bit more, not knowing if she wanted to fuck up or fondle the teen that tried to kill him.
Furthermore he wasn't sure if he wanted to know the answer, given how quickly Verena's mind could change when it came to how she felt.
Which despite the teen's constant raging took her out of the category of a sociopath, the fact of which made her murderous habits all the more terrifying
"Verena." Wild spoke in a warning tone, the bad feeling he was getting from leaving them alone together only growing stronger by the second.
However hearing her overprotective friend's words, Verena only subtly rolled her eyes as she took a step closer to the young juvenile.
"As a person," She feigned innocently as she physically waved both Wells and Bellamy off, her attention solely on Murphy. "right, John?"
That being said at her words, despite his attempt at remaining calm and expressionless as Verena continued to tease him, Murphy's eyes quickly connected with the crazy teen.
The boy hesitant yet clearly annoyed as he clenched his teeth down, muscles in his jaw flaring as fought the urge to shove at the girl in front of him.
"Don't call me that." He insisted although hesitantly as he knew attempting to fight the deranged teen in such close combat was a bad idea.
And hearing him standing up to her for once, Verena's eyes only widened for a fraction of a second pleasantly surprised at have a more confident mouse to play with.
"Or what," Verena invitingly asked as she took another step to the teen, her chest nearly pressed against his left arm as the two maintained eye contact. "Johnny-boy?"
As she finished her expression was monotone, making it seem as if all the amusement had left the area and that she was hoping to encourage him to fight her knowing she'd win.
And realizing that the crazy girl just wanted to start a fight, Murphy quickly backed down simply taking a few steps away from the teen girl as he avoided eye contact.
"Don't worry I won't hurt him," Verena spoke sounding almost dissapointed, rolling her eyes at Murphy's behavior as she turned back toward Bellamy and Wells. "physically, let's go Johnny-boy."
With that the girl began to walk off into the direction they were supposed to be heading, but whilst she did, she turned back toward the teen.
The deranged young woman using her index to motion for the hesitant teen to hurry along after her, a giggling leaving her lips as she watched him roll his eyes and follow.
The two leaving Wells and Bellamy to talk as they followed a multitude of steps behind them.
"Now what was I saying?" Bellamy asked after waiting for Verena and Murphy to get out of ear shot, unknown to him they were no where near far enough for Verena not to hear.
However that was unbeknownst to the man, who was glance
"A lot of bullshit about us being alike." Wells almost immediately remarked in return as he looked over toward the older slightly taller man, disgust blatant on his face.
Although his nasty remark only brought amusement to Bellamy's handsome face.
"Im liking your recent attitude Wells," Bellamy couldn't help but remark as he found only amusement in Well's tough guy act, however that wasn't the point of their conversation. "it looks good on you."
With that the two's conversation was forcefully ignored by Verena's ears, the teen instead going to focus on the boy walking beside her.
Not liking the silence he was trying to force during their walk, obviously not wanting to partake in a conversation with a crazy person such as herself.
Although him not wanting to talk would be the last thing that stopped, Verena from talking to him.
"So Johnny-boy-" The deranged teen began with a soft smile on her face, her arms lightly hanging in jacket pockets before she was interrupted by Murphy.
"I said don't call me that." Murphy once again remarked quick to look over at Verena, this being the only thing he was willing to hold his ground on.
Although his attempt to seem tough only brought amusement to Verena's face, the young woman always liking a challenge from her artwork.
Very few being excluded from becoming one of they became to buck or to meek, acting to strong or entirely to frail, it was all honestly a slippery slope.
"Why not," She asked taking a step closer the teen as they continued to walk, an excited look in her face as if they were doing something normal. "what are you going to do about it?"
However as she asked this leaning over entirely too far, directly into the boy's personal space, she could almost physically see the moment the teen gave up.
The boy only looking away as he sped up his steps a bit, his actions akin to an animal going limp in the mouth of a predator.
It also being completely annoying and boring in Verena's eyes.
"Ugh where's your backbone, Johnny," Verena asked almost perturbed by the boy's attempt to leave the conversation, causing her to only speed up her steps to match him again. "I was expecting more of a fight."
"No point fighting with crazy." Murphy quickly shot back, having no problem calling her what she was through an unbothered mutter.
