chapter 14

                       Summer pov

I woke on this beautiful Saturday morning. The sun was shining bright through my window. I drag myself out of bed and went downstairs

My parents and my little sister Keysha were sitting at the kitchen table eating breakfast. I said "good morning" and they all said it back.

I went to sit down and my mom put a plate in front of me then she sat back down starting back eating her breakfast.

My dad said "how was the basketball games last night?" I said "both of our basketball teams won" My dad said "that great"

I started eating my breakfast and nobody said anything for like 30 minutes. We all eat our breakfast in silence.

We finished eat breakfast and my dad said "before we leave the kitchen table I would like to discuss something with my family. I want us to spend the day together. I  will do anything my girls want to do"

I said "can we go get our hair and nails done?" My dad said "sure I will get my hair colored again" Keysha  said "can we go to build a bear at the mail and go to the park?" My dad said "anything my girls want to do we will do it"

My mom said "girls go get ready so we can start our family outing" My sister and I go up n ran up the stairs. I woke up not in a good mood but our family outing putting me back in a good mood. I am excited because I definitely need to get my hair and pedicure done.

We all got ready and went downstairs to wait on my dad. He came out of his office in a great mood. He said "r my girls ready to go?" We yell "yes" then he tickle us making us laugh.

We go to the salon first and we all got our hair and pedicure done. Then we went to park n we all played on the playground things.

We finally went to the mall and Dad took us on an shopping spree we got everything we wanted. We stopped at the food court and got lunch then we went to the build a bear store so Keysha can get her a bear.

We had a great family day we hadn't had one in months because my dad was too busy at work and was never really home.

We got home and my dad carried all our bags to our rooms then he came back and Keysha to her room because she fell asleep in the car on the way home. I kiss my mom on her right cheek and we told each other goodnight.

I went upstairs but on the way to my room. I saw my dad coming out of Keysha room. He closed the door and make his way over to me. I kiss him on his left cheek and I told him goodnight and he said "goodnight babygirl and love you" I said "love you too dad" we went downstairs and I went in my room.

I put all my bags down on my bedroom floor. I changed into my pj then went in the bathroom to brush my teeth. I got done with that then I came back in my room and got in bed.

Today was a great day and it kept my mind off things I needed that. I was beyond tired so I laid down and went straight to sleep.
