Escape From: The Mayor

We were all in the living room of room number 57  at 12:30 p.m standing and leaning against random furniture. The atmosphere was pretty serious. Well it was serious for everyone except for Ava. She was trying to hold in her laugh. I gave her multiple death glares but she didn't stop. I just rolled my eyes and went back to what Saba was telling all of us with the help of Alessia. Well mostly Alessia spoke. I saw that Amelia was still not here even though Zaira had messaged her privately.

That was one thing to worry about though. The other thing I was worrying about was that the mayor still hadn't taken any action from when we had saved Ava and Saba. He would have probably kicked us out or something but nothing yet. And I was getting really suspicious of him. And the most suspicious things was when Amelia came out of nowhere in our meeting.

She swung open the door hard and had her brown hair bit out of place and looked really tired and had dark eyebags uder her brown eyes and she was wearing a black crop top with a  dark blue jacket with a check design and a plain black leather skirt. She apologized for being late and told that she got stuck up in some work and had almost forgotten about the meeting but thankfully she remembered Zaira's message about the meeting and came here as fast as she could.

And even though I would have loved to buy it, I didn't. I gave Zaira a glare once which she returned by turning her head back to Saba speaking. I just turned my attention to Saba speaking too but I couldn't concentrate since Alma and Zaira kept asking Amelia about where she was. The fact that annoyed the most was, why did Alma care? Saba then called out for me to tell something about related to the plan which I knew I was supposed to speak but I forgot. Collin gave me a thumbs up as I went up and spoke some random stuff which I thought is pretty relevant to us escaping the mayor.

I told them about the types of robots the mayor owns and we have come across till now and how they function and work and what all things they possess which could kill us. Then I went on with how the robots love to obey the mayor so if we take down the mayor, we can take down the robots. And the speech was convincing to everyone so I was good to go and not embarrassed. Mission passed and respect plus.

I went back to my place in the group and Alessia started speaking again. I don't know what there is to talk about an escape. Like we just tell the plan, we do it and that's that. But no, they just had to make an hour long meeting for this. I was getting really bored and it was 1:04 p.m. I just wanted to sleep in my bed and read a book and never leave. But I guess I will have to say goodbye to that because now I had practice with Zoey and the others for the escape. 

When Alessia said that the meeting was over, I turned to the direction to my room but then Zaira called out for me and Zoey pulled me over and dragged me out of the room as Alessia and the others waved bye to me and Ava couldn't stop laughing at my miserable face. I asked Zoey where we were heading to and she said we were going for training. I groaned as a response and Ethan said to cheer up because we weren't doing this training at night which is a thing you can do and I wasn't aware of it.

When we reached the room where we did our training, everyone bombarded Amelia withe questions like 'are you fine' and 'where were you'. And of course she lied to all of them. I mean, who sweats so much while answering easy questions? Unless you have social anxiety. I was fed up of this fake act and to clam my anger down, I decided to start with the training before them so I could leave early.

After around 4 hours of training, it was 4:54 p.m and Zaira finally let us go. No, Zaira did not leave me early since she said that it didn't matter. So I had to do extra practice and that meant I was extra tired and that meant I had no energy for Collin's flirting. And yes, he kept flirting with me for no reason. He thought that it would cheer me up, but it didn't. I went to Collin's room and changed into the most comfortable pair of clothes I could find to wear and jumped onto the bed and I was going to sleep until Collin interrupted me.
