A step out of my house,
It's already changed.
Layers of colours,
As a kaleidoscope, the sky is arranged.
Sunlight sprinkles through spaces
In between the buildings,
As the crowds go on,
Bragging about their winnings.
The lights are so bright,
they're blinding me,
But the fire is fading out
Rather suffocatingly.
Breathing day's leftover light,
The night always radiates
As to allure us with lust,
The following days await.
'cause every soul lives off
of its chances to breathe,
Leaving another day,
To sit around and grief. The clouds pulled out graceful waltz,
As the sky rained,
People ran with hands on their heads,
Going off about their damned day.
Today the world melted down but
Tomorrow the sun will rise again.
A fact that will be there,
Until a height is left to attain.
The lights are so bright,
they're blinding me,
But the fire is fading out
Rather suffocatingly.
Breathing day's leftover light,
The night always radiates
As to allure us with lust,
The following days await.
'cause every soul lives off
of its chances to breathe,
Leaving another day,
To sit around and grief. They're the ever worthy pushers,
Who pushed till their ends.
Around the prize
they wrapped their ash.
While I stayed back to myself,
Thinking I'm the only mediocre left.
With them lost in the limelight,
They loomed like dementors,
across the sky.
I might camouflage
in the world's shadow,
Hide in the notes of a piano,
Have a little chat with my demons,
Be opaque,
when the world starts beaming. With life, every soul strives for a chance
To have a deal
Leaving another day to sit around and
Breathe.
