"Dude, there's no way you're winning this game I'm a legend." I said smugly.
"No of course I'm gonna beat you I'm literally the best at this." Eden replied while she tapped at the buttons on the Xbox controller.
"You're literally the worst at this game," I mimicked. I carried on tapping the buttons and moving the joystick. "Boom! Beaten. Bow to the King of Fortnite peasant."
"That's literally so unfair. You cheated I swear." Eden sunk back in her chair as she put her controller on the coffee table.
"Nah, you just suck Eeds." I laughed.
"I do not suck."
"Yeah you do. You suck Aiden's tiny dick." I was literally belly laughing now.
"That is so unnecessary Dan. Plus, we haven't gotten to that yet." Eden replied.
"Yet?" I replied, "And does he know you're here? He wouldn't like that now, would he?"
"Come on, you're just jealous that I have a boyfriend, and you're not even close to getting a girlfriend." Eden teased. "All you do is make out with slags."
"What do you mean 'come on' Aiden's a dickhead and you let him walk all over you. He definitely talks to Talia and Freya." I said accusingly. "Maybe they suck his dick so you don't have to."
"You don't really think that?" Eden asked with a worried look.
"Come on, you don't see it?" I replied.
"No? I love him and he loves me." Eden snapped. "Let's just drop this. Please."
"Whatever you want, Eeds."
I always figured it would be best to just agree either way with Eden because otherwise she gets mad at me. We've been best friends since we were like 3 years old. Our birthdays are 10 months apart though.
She's round mine right now because we had to make a schedule for when we hang out since she got with that dickhead she had a stupid crush on for ages.
Honestly, I have no romantic feelings for Eden cuz we've known each other since we were in nursery and we're now 16, but my point is I hate it when she's sad and gets hurt by stupid popular boys. And there's been a few.
I'll admit it, Eden's gorgeous, like how you would imagine the infamous Garden of Eden in religious studies. I'm not religious or anything but I do imagine a boring garden has Eden's personality. Doesn't sound that boring anymore.
Eden's phone started ringing so I sneaked a peek at who it was cuz I'm a nosy motherfucker. Guess who it was. The dickhead she's obsessed with. I'm not jealous of Aiden, or Eden for that matter. I just hate the fact she's so obsessed with him and I'm not gonna lie I think she has her heart set on marrying him. Aiden though, he's a dick and honestly I wouldn't be surprised if he cheated on her with some hoe I've probably fucked from school.
"I should probably go home now." Eden said with disappointment in her tone as she looked over at who was calling her phone.
"Okay. Call me if you need anything Eeds." I gave her a reassuring smile as she stood up and gathered her belongings.
"I will." Eden replied with a faint smile, "Hey, can I borrow that? It's cold outside." She pointed to my hoodie lying on my bed. "I didn't bring my coat because I left it in my locker."
I looked over at the grey zip up on my bed and handed it to her. "Of course. Stay warm, don't want you catching a cold Eeds."
"Thank you. I-I'll bring it back when I can." She swung it on as she walked over to the door where her shoes were neatly placed. She's a neat freak.
