'It happened so soon. Charles, Alex, and I went carting with Lucas because he-he-' Carlos could come out of his words and I told him to take his time. He breathed in and out and continued his story.

'Lucas really wanted to go-cart for such a long time and we all had the time today. And then we thought it would be fun to compete with each other. So I would drive against Lucas and Charles and Alex would drive against each other. So we drove and I just wanted to close the door on him but then he just flew in the ear.'

'I'm so scared, it's my fault. God, I can't even look at Charles, Alex, and Pascal. What if they hate me? It's my fucking fault!' I hug Carlos and comfort him. 'Hey, he is in the best hands. It is not your fault it's just a stupid accident that can happen to anyone.' I tell him when I look at him.

'Maybe I should have been safer, he is a kid. God, I'm so fucking stupid.' I shake my head and put my hands on his shoulders. 'Everything is going to be okay. We just have to wait. Go take a Coffee or water and relax. I will come to you first when I hear something from the doctors. I promise.' He nods and thanks me. He walks back to the waiting room and I go to a patient room.

A few hours pass by and I still have not heard from any doctors yet. 

When I had still 15 minutes of work I decided to go to Carlos and everyone else. They look up when they hear someone walk into the room and get nervous when they see me. 'I don't have any news yet, I'm sorry. I just wanted to ask if you wanted anything. Water?' 

I look at them and see that Carlos and the woman are gone, I forgot her name. Alex got annoyed and said 'Yeah, like that is going to fucking help. Maybe give some fucking information.' He gets mad and I think that is not only because of the situation but also of what happened 3 months ago. 

'I get that you're angry and it's really hard for you but I don't think it will be long before you know anything.' Alex stands up and looks at me, I see the hate on his face. 'Well then fucking go. I don't want to see your fucking face.' 'Alex calm down.' Charles says in a calm voice not looking at me but at the ground. 

'No, she deserves the fucking truth. You are a fucking bitch and I hate you. You know what you are-' 'That is enough!' Charles says angrily looking at his best friend. 'Let's just wait.' He does not look at me and just stares at his best friend in anger. 

Alex becomes more and more mad. 

He walks up to me and takes my collar. 'Why-' I see hurt on his face and I think we both ask ourselves what his question was. Why for not have information or why did you do that to me? I look closely at Alex and I see everything, heartbroken and hatred. I look at him and am prepared to let it just happen but before I hear him shouting at me again. 

Charles jumps between us, pushes Alex away from me, and tells his friend to calm down. I don't know where that came from, Alex was normally really calm but this. I did not see this coming from him. 'Calm down!' 'I'm sorry okay, I don't want to make you upset or anything.' 'Well that you should have considered before you fucked my best friend!' 

I hear a familiar woman's voice saying 'Hey, stop screaming. What is wrong with you.' I turn around and see Isa standing with her bag around her left arm. 'What is wrong with me? Ask that bitch, she is a liar and she just does things she wants and not thinking of others and their feelings.' 

Charles lets Alex sit down and tells him to calm down. 'You need to check on your friend Charles because his getting way out of control again.' 'He will be fine, we are all just... Just very scared.' 'I'm sorry Emily.' When he says that he looks at me and there goes a shiver down my spine. 

I nod to him and I hear Carlos and Pascal coming back into the room. 'Did something happen?' Carlos asks when he feels the tension in the room. Charles, Pascal, and Carlos go sit down again. 'Well that little shit there-' Isa begins but I cut her off. 

'Nothing is wrong.' I give a little smile, I don't want this drama to be the center of everything now. They are here for Lucas and this all between Alex, Charles, and me can wait. Before I have the chance to say hi properly to Isa I hear my work phone ringing.

I pick up and hear the doctor speaking. I nod when he talks and I thank him before hanging up. 'That was the doctor that has operated Lucas.' 'And, what did he say?' Charles asks in fear.
