A.N. Short one!

It's been six months since the ball. Bellamy lost his job as a guard, and he's now a janitor. Octavia is in the sky box, and Bell and I visit her whenever we can.

It's also been six months since Ms. Blake was floated. The first two months were the hardest. I barely slept, just trying to get the image of her being floated out of my head, and Bellamy just sat at the dinner table all night. I stopped trying to get him to sleep after the first week, he just couldn't handle the pain of losing both his mother and sister. We eventually decided that we would live together; every night we tried to spend apart ended in no sleep and sneaking into each other's quarters. We moved Bell's stuff into my quarters a few months back, which brought back all of his emotions. I have tried to be there for him as best I can, comforting him when he cries, and talking him through his nightmares.

All this pain, all this suffering; I'm not sure how much more we can take.

It's been a few more months, and Bellamy is pretty much back to how he was before the ball. We can have conversations about it now that don't end in blinding rage and uncontrollable sobbing.

Octavia seems to be doing well, she said she made friends with two guys that were arrested for stealing weed from the hydroponic farm. Something about goggles, and messy hair? The guard doesn't let us visit much anymore, and I know that Bellamy is silently struggling. He hates his job, and our relationship is being put through so many trials– it has been hard on the both of us.

However, today is going to be a great day. Bell is only working half the day today, so we are going to have lunch, and relax until we get sick of doing nothing. Currently, I am just waiting for him to get home.

Suddenly, the door is pushed open, and Bellamy walks in holding a bouquet of dried flowers. "Hey, babe. How was your day?" He asks me, pressing a short kiss to my cheek.

"It was great, but it's better now. How- Where did you get these?"

"Well, I was talking to Vera, the woman from that religious group, and she said she had something for me to give you."

"Well, I love them. Thank you." I press a passionate kiss to his lips, and then turn around to find a decorative cup to put the flowers in.

"You know, I was thinking-"

"That's never good." I interrupt him.

"Ha ha. But seriously, why don't we skip lunch, and we can eat here."

"But I have no food- Oh. You are dirty, Mr. Blake." I smile at him, before he picks me up by my waist, my legs wrapping around him as he presses me against the wall. "God Bell, what has gotten into you."

"I have something to ask you." He looks very serious, like this question means a lot to him. My heart starts to beat faster, as my mind wanders to what he might need to ask me.

"Are you going to quit your job, because I totally get it I just-" He smashes his lips against mine, stealing my breath.

"I'm not quitting my job." He says while laughing. Then, he just stares into my eyes, a smile never leaving his face.

"Then what, Bellamy. I'm too impatient-"

"Marry me." I stare at him, processing his question. Tears start to fill my eyes, as I start to register his words.

"I- What?"

"Ellie, Anastasia, Blake, will you marry me?" He uses his last name instead of mine.

"Yes. Yes. Oh my god, Bellamy, a million times yes." I start to cry as we kiss, love and dedication flowing through us, the two of us eternally connected.

He drops me onto our bed, hovering above me, before he whispers, "I love you. I don't know what I would do without you," and the rest of our day is spent in bed.

I have been parading around the ark, bragging to anyone I know about being engaged to Bellamy Blake. Bell came home the other night, and said he had heard a rumor about the two of us being engaged. He also added that he happily corrected them that the rumor was actually a fact.

It's been about two weeks since, and the only person I can think of wanting to tell is Octavia. I have tried everyday, sometimes a few times a day to get a visit in. The guards keep saying there is some kind of virus spreading through the sky box, but I think they are lying. Why, I have no idea. The second person I wanted to tell was Ms. Blake. The third person on my list was Raven Reyes, a zero-G mechanic that has become one of my good friends. I ran to her work station a few days ago and told her all about it, maybe a little too much. I have been having a hard time putting my happiness into words.
