Episode 8: The School Dance

(Fade to the Casper High gym, which has a banner above its door reading, "SCHOOL DANCE 2 NITE" and dance music playing from within as students file in. Inside, students are dancing and cheering.)

(Kevin is seen grabbing two glasses of punch off a table and turns to hand one to Dora, who happily took off and takes a sip of it.)

Dora: "Mmm. What fascinating favor. What do you humans call this again?"

Kevin: "Fruit punch."

Dora: "Fascinating."

(While Dora was drinking her punch, Kevin sees his sister is overshadowing her dad to talk to Mr. Lancer and Maddie is there with him. Suddenly, Kevin gets a call from Sam.)

Sam: [On Kevin's earbud.] "Hey, Kev. I got some information on that dragon research you'd wanted me to check. Here's the link."

(Kevin takes out his phone and gets a notification from Sam. He clicks on it to reveal a webpage with an image of the ghost dragon on screen. He then reads it and it's a medieval ghostly legend held that the cursed Amulet of Aragon could transform any wearer into dragon form under states of extreme emotional duress and anger.)

Kevin: "Just as I expected as much. Thanks, Sam. And listen, I'm sorry I couldn't ask you out on the dance."

Sam: "What? Oh no. No no no. It's fine. I'd never wanted to go anyway."

Kevin: "Oh come on, Sam. Don't denial it. I know you wanted to go. You're just afraid to admit it." [sighs] "Look. For helping me research this, I'll repay you by giving you a good time tomorrow night. Does that sound good to you?"

Sam: "...As long as I'll be on top of you this time, then I'm game tomorrow night."

Kevin: "Cool. I'll call you later. Stay safe."

Sam: "You too, Phantom Hunk~ Bye."

Kevin: [The call hung up.] "So, Dora. How are you liking the dance?"

Dora: "It is quite fascinating to say the least. This is very different then the one in the Middle Ages. Everything is modern and full of surprises."

Kevin: "If you say so." [The music changes from regular to romantic.] "Care to have this dance, milady?"

Dora: "Why of course, Sir Phantom."

(Kevin and Dora then goes to the middle of the gym and start dancing while each other's hands, feeling the rhythm and expressing their love to one another.)

(The girls noticed this as they grew jealous to see Kevin is dancing with Dora instead of them and the boys (some who are perverts) are glaring at Kevin for dancing with Dora before they could ask her out.)

Maddie: "Aww. Look at my baby boy go. He's dancing with that beautiful girl in the center."

Jack: "Attaboy, son. That's what I call giving girls a good time."

Mr. Lancer: "Ah yes. Your son is doing pretty well in his school classes. Unlike your sister, he hasn't cause any trouble after he'd step foot in this school. I dare say your son is perfect in every way possible."

(Kevin and Dora continues doing the tango for a couple of minutes before they stop to give each other warm smiles at one another.)
